Outstanding customer service & cleanliness. What a wonderful find. My husband first stayed here while on a business trip last year. Our daughter is now doing a 7 week internship nearby and he proposed the Residhome to be her home base while here. I’m so pleased we didn’t chose an Airbnb or a hotel in the city. This place feels brand new. Everything is immaculate from the common areas, laundry facilities to the parking lot, everything feels and looks brand new. Now onto customer service, there is no one single person that has not been attentive, cordial and accommodating. Everyone treat us like a good old friend and we love to feel the connection and the closeness of the personnel. The room is spacious, consisting of floor to ceiling windows so there is plenty of light to make it feel bigger, it also has a sitting area, kitchenette (complete with dishwasher, refrigerator, pots, pans & cooking and eating utensils) bathroom is spacious also with a nice two shower heads. The breakfast is wonderful. You’ll find a vast variety of delicious baked goods, cheeses, jams, deli ham, yogurt, fruits, French soft boiled eggs, coffee and juices. The area is safe and has everything you need within walking distance. The shopping mall across the street has supermarket, dry cleaning, nail salon, a discount store called Action that can be compared to a small Walmart in the US, a movie theater plus all the stores you expect in a mall. You also have an Aldi around the corner and a beautiful revamped coal factory area with several restaurants. A gym is also within waking distance. Our daughter feels safe and at home and we have peace of mind having her staying here. Thanks to everyone at the hotel for a lovely experience. We will definitely recommend Residhome to anyone coming to Lux.

I stayed at the Ibis Belval for the Capital of Culture event for 10 days. I want to thank the staff at the hotel for being attentive, friendly and polite. This was especially invaluable as Belval is not big on dietary options for people that are dairy and wheat intolerant. The staff ordered different milks and bread for me and there was always enough. I had a lot of issues with food in Belval but Arnaud and the team made sure I had a good breakfast, which is so important when you are there for work. The young man on the night staff even filled up my hot water bottle for me before bed which was such a lovely gesture when I was exhausted after a day of working the event. My only gripe is that I was itchy during the whole stay at Belval and many of the others in my team also said they had red eyes or itchiness, we think maybe it was the detergent used for laundry, the rooms however were impeccably clean and the house keeping team was respectful and friendly. The room I was initially allocated was very very tiny. As I had booked for 6 nights, I kindly asked the receptionist to re-allocate me in another room. I had booked a room with double bed and the room I was given had only one twin bed and still there was no space to move. The receptionist was very helpful and changed the room in a double bed room as booked, immediately when I shared my concern. I could not make the change in the first night because there was not any receptionist on Sunday after 8 pm. We were given the keys by a person living at the building in front of the hotel. The rooms were generally clean. Two of my colleagues in the same trip were allocated spacious rooms. There was a bottle of water everyday, which was very helpful given that the shops closed by 6pm in Esch. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast very good.
