Amazing family owned hotel, lovely breakfast. Feels safe and comfortable. Host provided additional beach gear, hiking and travel guide. Optimal location in middle of the beautiful island. Village is clean, renovated, have variety of dining and shopping places.

Hotel m27 was the best stay of our most recent trip to Europe. The location was exactly what we were looking for - perfectly situated to all parts of the island and within a walkable town that was not overly touristy. The hotel and room were very clean & comfortable- with a well stocked fridge of amazing wines and snacks which was welcomed after a long day of travel. We were in a front room during the busy season and had no sign of road noise. The property was very peaceful. Last but not least, we cannot say enough about Vicent. He was a wonderful, helpful and kind host. And the breakfast was incredible - there was a great selection, it was fresh and delicious. Even after we had moved on to our next destination we wished Vicent was there to make those delightful breakfast toasts. We would not stay anywhere else in Menorca!

For service, attention and comfort this hotel scores ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The hotel is stylish, very comfortable and well placed for exploring the whole island. If you don't mind some traffic noise it's well worth considering. Breakfast is superb, the staff are also superb and really helped make our stay special. The town has plenty of places to eat and good bus services. Es Mercadal is in the center of the island and provides easy access to all areas.

Exceptional in every way. Location, amenities, service, breakfast. Above all, so charming and welcoming, with a very warm and caring host and staff. Vicent, Maria, Mariana are the best, kindest, most caring hosts to their guests that I have ever experienced in all my travels. Our stay in Menorca was such a delight after following their recommendations, and we looked forward to their happy faces every morning as they greeted and served us breakfast prepared personally by them. Can’t say enough of them, and we already miss Menorca and them, and plan to return again someday. The hotel is wonderful, centrally located, parking not a problem considering it is right at the town center. The interior design has thoughtful and personal touches, well-curated and appointed, everything is clean and comfortable. 10 stars! Thank you Vicent, Maria and Mariana!

We loved the place. Owners were super helpful and lovely. Would highly recommend and would stay there again. Es Mercadal is a sleepy little place but great for a slightly different location on a beach island.

We stayed here for three nights at the end of our stay in Menorca, and what a wonderful way to end ! We stayed in two different rooms, both were lovely. Fontassa and Farina. Fontassa is slightly bigger, but has no balcony, Farina has a lovely little balcony overlooking the mill. The rooms are decorated beautifully and the beds are super, super comfy. If you are looking for a balcony room I would suggest Moli as it is a little bigger than Farina. Vincent was so helpful and couldn’t do enough to help us. We were originally booked in room Far, which is on the ground floor closer to the breakfast patio than the other rooms and we asked to move as I am a little noise sensitive and he made this happen, he really did his best to make our stay perfect. He gave us some really great restaurant tips and sent us to the most beautiful unspoilt virgin beaches. Such a lovely man with a wonderful energy. Breakfast at the hotel is just out of this world! There is a lovely little plunge pool, we used to enjoy a little dip and glass of wine there after a day out. Beach towels, snorkels etc are provided, such a lovely touch. The hotel does run alongside a main road but you cannot hear the traffic noise at all when you are in your room as all windows are double glazed, but you can hear the road from the wonderful little pool or if you are on your balcony. Es Mercadal is a really lovely town, lots of great restaurants and a good base to explore the Island from. If you are looking to stay in Es Mercadal this is the place to book. We stayed in the hotel to visit some family who live in the village so it was very conveniently located for us. The rooms are all individually named - we stayed in the attic room named Ferreria and it was a lovely comfortable room. It had great views across to the windmill. The room itself is very tastefully decorated and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Host Vincent was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Also, his assistant Maria was extremely helpful and made us both feel at home. Breakfast is very good with local produce and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended

It was the best stay we had in Menorca. We stayed for 5 days. The location is amazing, in the center of Menorca which permits you to move around very easily. The Hotel is so beautiful, spacious rooms, very nice terrace. The breakfast was delicous with a lot of local products. But the best thinh were the owners that were all mornings in the Hotel, preparing breakfast and making sure our stay was perfect!
