Uma experiência inesquecível! Fiquei surpresa com as comodidades deste acampamento no deserto de Sahara. A tenda é super confortável, com ar condicionado, camas grandes e confortáveis, chuveiro quente e banheiro privativo. Atendimento atencioso, comida excelente!

Such a beautiful place. The room was clean and spacious and everything was well put together. I quite like to get to know people on my travels but the staff was very professional and mostly kept to themselves, which I understand as this is obviously a busy and highly visited place - for good reason, it truly is amazing. Just expect it to be a bit stiff and very organised. We went for a morning walk by ourselves to see the sunrise before breakfast, which was really beautiful and peaceful. At night we could see the Milkey Way, which was very special. I want to add a comment to address the the rudeness of some tourists that we saw when going on the organised trip to visit a nomad family: remember that you are visiting someone’s home. Be as respectful as you would be when visiting the home of someone in your home country. Do not whistle at kids or adults to give them money. It is custom to give the family something as this is part of their income, but if you don’t know how to connect with people because of language barriers, I would recommend asking your guide to help you. Say thank you for them opening their home to you.

This is a most wonderful experience we ever had. Their service is great, luxurious big hotel style tent in the middle of desert, it has fully equipped bathroom, not only shower but also a big bath tub! Comfortable bed. Our dinner is a formal, many courses Mediterranean cuisines. After dinner, we dance with local Berber people in front of fireplace and play drums. The sky was so clear, It is like you are in the paradise. We also did jeep driving through the desert, see sunset and sunrise, 1 hour camels riding. The staff are very polite, helpful, did their best to make everyone happy, the manager M.BachirNaciri is awesome. We will definitely come back again in the future. Strongly recommend.

We spent one night at Imperial Glory Lodges as part of a 5 night Secret Escapes package which included a night in the Dades Gorge and a night in the Sahara, as well as nights in Marrakech either side. We finally arrived at the jeep pick up point at 4pm, from where we were driven a shortish distance into the desert to reach the location of the camels (actually dromedaries as only 1 hump!), along with another couple on the same tour. The 4 of us were then led on our camels for 1.5hrs through the dunes to the camp - which to be honest seemed very long, as we had drizzle/rain most of the way and there was thunder in the distance - not what you hope for at sunset time! We passed other camps on the way and when we finally saw the welcoming lights of Imperial Glory, it was a relief to get off! By then it was about 6pm and we were greeted with a refreshing cold drink and some nibbles, and then taken to our "tents" - although both of us couples were actually taken to a couple of thatched roof cabins with glass patio doors on the fronts, which were at the end of the arc of white tents - which felt like an upgrade! Our "tent" was stunning inside with 2 big beds at either side, dressing table, hanging rail, rugs etc and then a large bathroom behind with a huge bath in the centre, and a shower section at one end and toilet at the other. It was also lovely and warm which was a relief after our damp camel ride and the rapidly cooling night air, and there was good lighting. The only issue we had was that the shower water was only luke warm, so we could only face a very quick one - perhaps because the water is solar heated and it had been a grey wet day? It certainly wouldn't have been any good for a bath! In the room were his and hers Berber style robes to wear for the evening, which was a nice touch. Dinner was at 8pm and a tasty set meal of 5 courses (included in our package). Soft drinks available to purchase, no alcohol. Then there was live local music by the campfire outside which gave a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately a lot of the cushions set out around the fire were soaked from the weather and it was a very cold evening, so we didn't last long before turning in. We were also advised at dinner that we needed to be at breakfast at 7am with our luggage, before a 7.40am departure. We therefore had to set our alarm for 6.20am. Breakfast was a cold buffet of breads and pancakes and jams. Nothing too exciting and no hot options offered but it was early so we didn't mind. Jeeps collected us and we had a fun journey back across the same dunes, slipping and sliding as we drove up and over a similar route to the camels but quicker! The sun rose as we left. A too short but sweet stay, as it would have been lovely to have had a full day and an extra night to soak up the environment, especially given the poor weather on arrival. A lot of people from other camps were standing on the dunes watching the sun rise as we drove back over, but no time for t

Sahara desert was a magical place but our experience was bad because of the host. Firstly, we got there exhausted and thirsty. The host was very stingy with the amount of drink poured to the guest. (1/3 of the cup and when I took a second serving at the biscuit at the stand he gave a me look?! We were shown to our rooms by this host and as we were walking I was asking him about the plans tomorrow and he mentioned I will brief you guys later. Of which I was annoyed because why keep us waiting when we can plan our rest time tomorrow? There was no complimentary water in the tent and we were thirsty. We asked for a bottle of water and they staff passed to us and charged us for it. (it’s fine cause it’s not expensive) but it just shows the stinginess of this whole place. One of the lady beside us said can I have a bottle as I really drink a lot but the staff just kept quiet and just continued filling up the cup countless time. We tried to turn on the AC and locate the WiFi but we could not thus, I had to walked out to the main area to ask again and the host said AC will only start after 9:30pm. Of which I understood but felt that such information could be relayed to us earlier. We came out at 8:30pm for our dinner that dragged till 10:30pm. It was a very slow 4 course meal… my husband was annoyed as there were so many flies and they said we can go back and check if the AC is on and we can come back for the dance and music. Of which we obliged and stayed on, it probably ended abruptly as guest started coming in and we ended. We were briefed by 1 of their staff that 7am we will wake up and 7:40 we will leave by car. We shortly checked with the host again if its camel riding or car? He said 5am breakfast and shortly camel riding. There was no mention of any cost incurred should we decide to miss the camel riding. We were exhausted and decided to skip the camel ride and the ride host came to tell us off rudely and said that since we missed it we will have to pay 100MAD per pax. I was mad.. I said it’s alright our guide will come fetch us! He questioned us how are they going to come in? He said there’s no way he can come into the camp! and the only way is to pay! There is no option! Another couple who already made known to them that they won’t be going for the camel riding was caught off guard as well as to why they had to pay when they already mentioned the night before about not going for the camel ride. They were unhappy as well. It’s not a huge amount(100mad/pax) however it’s the tone and the rudeness from him as we were not given clear instruction from him or the staff and we were told to follow instruction to a T. It’s an expensive camp but such strict instructions as to what time u can turn on AC, what time u can go to bed and what time you need to wake up is uncalled for. *He did refunded us the money because we were furious! But it was the.. if you are not happy with it, I will refund you. (RUDE!) We barely even spend much time

This is complete luxury in the middle of the desert. From the moment you step foot in the camp you are immersed in a VIP experience. The accommodation consists of king size beds, running hot water and air conditioning. The staff were amazing the whole time, friendly and always on hand if you needed anything. The evening campfire and dancing made it an unforgettable experience. I think everyone should stay here at least once!

An amazing place to visit. After our camel ride to the lodge we received a very warm welcome and a very welcome and refreshing lemon & cucumber drink. The tent was amazing although the bed was a little hard. The staff at dinner were very attentive and the food was very good. In summary it was beyond my expectation.

The tent was very big and beautiful. The beds very comfortable and the staff super welcoming and friendly. Everybody spoke English, French and/or Spanish and explained us a lot about Berber’s culture. The camp is very well decorated and offers a splendid view of the Sahara.
