Situated 450 metres above Lake Lucerne on the Bürgenberg mountain, in the Bürgenstock Resort, the Waldhotel Health & medical Excellence was designed by star architect Matteo Thun and features the Waldhotel Spa and Verbena Restaurant with its own bar on site. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property. The Hotel Restaurant, Verbena Restaurant & Bar, features healthy cuisine only from locally and ethically sourced products free of refined sugars, oils and carbohydrates while avoiding artificial flavourings & preservatives. All Waldhotel rooms are facing south and feature their own balconies or terraces as well as a relaxation areas with own desk. Every room has a private bathroom equipped with a bath and walk-in shower, own bathroom health amenities, free coffee & tea facilities as well as soft drinks from the minibar. The hotel has its own medical facilities on site operated 24 hrs. with fully equipped medical personnel for your health & safety. You can play tennis or golf at this hotel, and the area is popular for mountain biking and hiking. Europe's highest outdoor lift, the Hammetschwand lift, is located nearby. The hotel guests can access the Bürgenstock Boat Shuttle as well as a funicular from and to Lucerne during entire stay free of charge. Bürgenstock Cinema is available for all guests at a charge of CHF 15 per person per movie. You can enjoy the Waldhotel Spa during your stay as part of your room rate. Excellent hotel with very friendly staff great location and wonderful service , food was amazing and the transport service was great . The Breakfast was excellent . Definitely it won’t be the last time to stay in this hotel

Love the Burgenstock and never ceases to disappoint after 5 visits at every property. Waldhotel has fabulous large rooms and bigger and nicer than the Palace property. Spa is excellent although it does not have the grandeur of the Alpine spa but was quiet and very private.

The best hotel I ever visited. Overall a great place to relax! i was.there for a company event. The food was amazing! the room service perfect. Everything was as you would expect from a 5star Hotel. I would go there again definitely!

Wonderful stay, me and my family thoroughly enjoyed the views and hotel room and food. Great location. Excellent staff and very helpful. Special thanks to room service staff as we ordered so much. As well as special thanks to concierge for arranging all our transport.

One of the highlights of our one week stay in Switzerland during Fall break with husband and three year old daughter. Loved the property, various hotels, and so many amenities that we would love to return to experience. The hotel was my favorite among the ones as a part of the property-loved the contemporary vibe. Had a lovely surprise waiting for us for our anniversary celebration. Delicious breakfast, lovely service, even tried the dining room- later learned the kids' room was literally next door- will definitely be using this feature next time! Playground was my daughter's favorite- no one there, totally private which was a fun bonus too.

Fresh Resort with relax and great service. On the cliff above the lake and Swiss country valley with amazing views both sides. Local food, healthy menu, SPA with view! I recommend to hike around. I tool the walk to the LIFT and got on the top. Do it!

Matea at front office was exceptionally kind and professional! The spa facility and outdoor scenery was amazing and beautiful. Cow bell ringing sounds from the valley is so peaceful and healing. Everything was so good.

Thank you very much for your hospitality. We were indeed very pleased with both the service and the food quality. . The altogether atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive as well as highly professional. All in all it was an unforgettable experience we would highly recommend to our friends.

WOW! What a stunning hotel. We loved this place, super modern and we were SO lucky with the weather in early September as Europe bathed in sunny hot days. The hotel is super cool, very modern, room spacious and well designed. Lovely little terrace and amazing bathroom, comfy beds. The spa was super and we almost had it to ourselves, with numerous sauna/hamman rooms and indoor/outdoor pools and all the usual jacuzzi options. We also ate one evening at Verbana on the terrace, also very special place for breakfast. I was worried the views wouldn’t compete with the lake views from the original hote, but the alpine vista was stunning, mesmerising in fact, we loved it (& the coin bells ringing!). Fabulous hotel.
