An extraordinarily poor experience. We are a business client for Premier Inns and usually enjoy the facilities and convenience, however this hotel is an exception and we would recommend avoiding. Having booked through our business account and checked in, we were interrupted at 5am with a loud and aggressive knock at our door, with a night porter stating that we hadn’t paid! This was due to their admin error at check in and ruined our night. The porter was aggressive and argued with us outside other guests bedrooms. Management told us to complain in writing to HQ which we did and 30 days later we got an unsympathetic response. Furthermore the room was damp smelling, the bathroom panels were warped, the air conditioning didn’t work and the toilet seat had water marks over it. Worse still we forgot our room key, and reception gave us a replacement key without asking for ID or knowing us. This is a major safeguarding concern and any guest safety is at risk. Premier Inn had the opportunity to put this right 3 times prior to me writing this review. Their response was default, pre written and didn’t address their problems, the safety concerns or offer their sleep guarantee
