Days Inn has a service where you can park you car there for a fee and includes a shuttle service back and forth from O'Hare Airport. My complaint is when I and my family arrived back from our vacation. When we were originally dropped off, I was given a business card and told to call when we were ready to get picked up and they would be there between 20-30 min. Days Inn is 17 minutes away from Airport but we get it, traffic and all. When I called I spoke to Sunny Patel. I let him know what terminal we were at and he said we'll be there in 30min. I called back after 45 min. I was assured driver would be there in 10 min more. 25min later I called again and asked for the manager. Apparently Sunny Patel IS the general manager. He told me to keep waiting. Two and half hours and 5 calls later, I let Sunny know that we we're talking a taxi and I would hope they would cover the $30 cab fare. He said they would NOT pay for it because they offer a free shuttle. We ended up taking a taxi back. Of course I was upset after waiting 2hrs and said we would talk once I got there. Upon arrival, Sunny Patel had left....sure he did. They refused to pay for the taxi and not even an apology. Worst way to get back home from vacation.
