When we arrived, I asked about laundry and was told "yes" they had laundry and it cost $1.50 p/load - all quarters. I asked if they had a change machine and she replied "no." I asked: "how can guests do their laundry if you don't provide a change machine? People don't walk around with that many quarters." And the female at the desk replied "well, we don't have one." And the male replied "stuff happens." Very snotty - the both of them! I did not appreciate their snide, RUDE attitudes one bit! I've been coming to Hampton Inn for years and never had such horrible trea**ent. Plus, the door to our room was very difficult to unlock; the entry light was burned out, and there was mold around one section of the tub! This is unacceptable!! Then, the elevator doors are a mess - like someone ripped off the ads and the carpet is very worn and needs to be replaced. Oh, and we couldn't use the pool - they were doing maintenance. I completely understand maintaining a large hotel; however, wouldn't it make more sense to do it in the off season - not in JUNE. I really feel like a good portion of my money should be refunded for all the reasons listed above.
