The rooms are dirty, there were stains on the linens. The television in the rooms are not working. The breakfast is worse. There was a little living room by the reception , i had been biten by bedbugs after sitting for a while. In their web description it states beachfront, but it wasn't. They should go over what hospitality business means because the staff does not even greet or talk to their guests.

First, Location is a litle bit far from downtown, need to hire a motorcycle or take a local tricycle. Secondly, wifi connection is only at the lobby area which is also very weak. Network access also is not available. No cable for tv. Thirdly, comfort room is way disaster , bidet was hanged on the switch of the shower no proper standard for hygiene , water for shower was very week no shower heater , Pool was dirty , the water is not even running properly and lastly the breakfast been served to us. it was a CORNSILOG 🌽🍚🍳😒 ( photo was not taken 😅 )

experience, the first night arriving after 11 PM, wanted to take a shower. No hot water, breakfast was rice and porage, lost the key to our room, after 25 minutes a staff member jumped over the balcony, opened the sliding glass door, key found

So, we recently stayed at La Casa Teresa in El Nido, and honestly, it wasn't the greatest experience. I thought I'd share what I went through during my time there, just to give you a heads-up if you're thinking of booking a stay. First off, the hotel's location is a bit of a pain. It's pretty far from the El Nido town center, which means you gotta hop on a tricycle that costs around 30-50 PHP per person. Not the end of the world, but it adds up, you know? And the ride takes like 5-10 minutes, so it's a short trip, but still. Now, let's talk about the internet. It's a bit of a bummer because you can only get online in the lobby. So if you're hoping to chill in your room and catch up on stuff, tough luck. When we got there, our room wasn't ready. Apparently, the previous guests overstayed, so we had to cool my heels for about an hour before we could actually check in. Not the most fun way to start a trip, let me tell you. Oh, and good luck getting a decent mobile signal. It's all over the place, which can be annoying if you need to stay connected. Once I got to my room, things didn't get much better. The TV was in this weird spot that made watching it feel like a workout for your neck. And guess what? No slippers! Who doesn't provide slippers these days? The room itself felt kinda dim, like they forgot to install enough lights. And speaking of forgetful, they also seemed to forget to fix the hot shower. Water pressure? Yeah, that was pretty weak too. They switched us to a different room near the lobby so we could at least catch some Wi-Fi. But they didn't bother to make sure the room was clean before we moved in. The toilet was a mess, so I had to ask them to send someone to clean it up. And let's talk towels. They looked like they'd been through a lint storm. Not the kind of towels you'd want to use after a shower. Breakfast was another letdown. It starts at 7am, so if you're an early bird, you're out of luck. The portions were tiny, and most of it seemed to come from canned goods. At least they had eggs and veggies. Coffee? Yeah, that was the instant stuff, not the real deal. The replacement room had a shower heater that decided it had better things to do, and there were two AC units, but only one was doing any work. Oh, and they had a TV remote without the TV itself. Go figure. And seriously, what's up with the green bed night light? I'm still scratching my head over that one. The doorknob was acting up too, which got old real quick. Oh, and let's not forget the Wi-Fi. It was slow and liked to play hide and seek with my devices. They even downgraded it during our stay, which felt like adding insult to injury. Honestly, I can't really say I'd recommend La Casa Teresa to anyone. Even if you're on a tight budget, there have got to be better options out there. Look for a place that actually cares about the basics and treats their guests right.

This is by far the worst customer service we’ve experienced in the hospitality industry. When we arrived their staff are really not welcoming. We arrived early but couldn’t check in early coz they were still cleaning the room only to find out that its already cleaned. Its fine if they dont allow early check in as long as they said so upon our arrival. Worst thing is that they dont have food coz their chef is not available. They didnt offer any refreshments while waiting nor advised us that we can already start our day and they will just care for our belongings once the room is available. Yhe place doesnt have signal and their wifi signal is so week it wouldnt reach your room. The rooms are dark and with molds at the ceiling. The staff dont even know to smile or greet their customers. Housekeeping is poor too. We asked for our rooms to be cleaned the second day and they said okay but when we got home after our tour its still the same. We let it pass and asked again on the third day before we left for our tour and to our dismay its still the same thing. We told them and we were advised that their housekeeping was busy. The food for breakfast is also very salty and very small serving. Overall I wouldnt recommend this hotel.

We arrived at the hotel shortly before noon. And considering we were up since 1am to catch a very early flight, and ensure an almost 5hrs land travel, we are already dead tired. There was no usual meet and greet, but was immediately told that checkout is at 12noon, and a charge will be incurred if we exceed that. And of course, checkin is at 2pm. So basically, they did not let us in early considering there are lots of rooms available. And when they finally check us in shortly after 2pm, I had to carry my own luggage as they cannot find a male housekeeper, and I was afraid it would take hours again if I don't. And it was a struggle since they have assigned us on another building, down a path of steep slippery steps, of around 100 meters away. The room was okay but too much mosquitoes, and the water pressure in the bathroom is weak. And the tv is not working. Wifi is only available in the main lobby which as I've mentioned, very far. A mediocre plated breakfast was included by the way. We stayed for 3 nights, and not a single housekeeping was done in our room. And when we asked for a fresh towel, questions was asked, before a damp new ones was provided.

This was by far the absolutely worst experience from beginning to end of a stay in ANY hotel EVER in my entire life! I travel often and am absolutely astonished at the unprofessionalism (to say the least!) by the “owner” of this hotel. Had I read the reviews of this hotel and not had this hotel booked by a travel agent, I would have NEVER stayed here. From the moment I walked in the staff was just unpleasant and there was immediately issue after issue. I was first told there was no WIFI at the hotel, only in the lobby. Then I was told that there was no WiFi in the lobby either and that the whole island of El Nido was without WiFi. I was not happy but I figured I was only there for 2 nights. Clearly this was NOT TRUE! Soon after, I was given a room with no power and that needed to be run on a generator. After getting settled into my room with no view, which I had requested, I went to take a shower but lo and behold- there was NO hot water. I wish I could say this was the end but it gets much, muchhh worse! The following day after having a terrible first day, I had an all day tour of the island booked (which was absolutely amazing btw), so thankfully, I was away for the majority of the day. However, when I returned, I went to take a shower and wash my hair as I had dinner plans with friends who were staying 7 minutes away in a much better area of the island. I put shampoo in my hair and the power goes out! Completely dark. I patiently wait as I’m thinking this is something that will get resolved rather quickly, especially since I’m assuming the power went out in the entire hotel. NOPE. After waiting for 15 minutes, I grab a towel to head downstairs (I was staying on the 4th floor and there was no elevator). As soon as I get to Lobby there is an older lady who says she is the owner. Immediately after mentioning that the power went out in my room (the rest of the hotel still in fact had power), I was met with anger and disrespect - as if it was my fault for bringing it to her attention! She never made any apologies but instead kept defending her hotel. Even though I was very civil about it and simply wanted the power back on, since at this point I was going to be running late to dinner. I tried to leave the “conversation” as I was in a towel and still had shampoo in my hair but she continued and continued talking and making excuses. Eventually I got annoyed at her lack of accountability and told her about the fact that I was told by multiple people that day that the entire island of El Nido did not lose WIFI and that my friends who were staying a few minutes away stated that that was a lie because their hotel had perfect WIFI. What was that for!! She immediately BLEW UP at me and started berating me and saying how dare I call her a LIAR and to bring those friends to her face to confront her. I was in shock at how she was speaking to me, so I immediately left upstairs. I got ready and went to dinner. I was simply counting down the hours til I was chec
