Staff were excellent at check in , reception area was clean and tidy. Rooms were clean and tidy, close to shops and restaurants. Buses run frequently into Edinburgh and the trams are close by.

We have used this hotel many times over the years but it's beginning to look a bit tired. We were in room 11, but it felt like we were in a wind tunnel. There is a large gap down the left hand side of the window which was blowing in cold air. It was also noisy. We tried plugging the gap with folded cardboard - but we didn't have enough! The wind coming in from underneath the door was also very noisy. We had to plug that gap also just so we could soften the noise. Apart from that everything was ok

Easy to find, lots of parking space, checked in straight forward and warm comfy quiet room as per most Premier inns, Evening meal service was exceptional, and lovely views, wanders by the forth. Great location.

Lovely location on the picturesque waterside. Very convenient public transport close by. Quiet room, comfy bed, good shower. Tatty room and hotel but it was very clean and safe with awesome staff. Vegan food available, so I was happy.

This hotel wasn't cheap at +/- £125 a night, but it certainly hadn't had much spent on it. Very tired room with filthy windows, looking out on to rubbish strewn grass/brick wall, the room was extremely dated. The lampshades were split, tile joints black. The bed was comfortable but no place to sit comfortably to chill. I've already booked an alternative hotel for another upcoming stay. I didn't expect 4* but this was not VFM.

We stayed at the Edinburgh Leith hotel as we were taking our daughters away during the half term on a family break and we had stayed at the hotel before. The hotel did not disappoint and had everything we asked for. We had pre-booked breakfast also and that worked out well for us as a family of four. The location was ideal as it was nice and quiet which suited our needs. Staff were friendly, the room was clean and everything was convenient. Will definitely return!

Really good hotel. Room was very clean and had a really good view of the sea. The breakfast served was excellent and all choices were available. Had no issues with the wifi throughout my stay. This hotel is located in a nice area with the tram stop being a short walk away. Only downside about this hotel was that the room interior was a bit dated compared to the other Premier Inn hotels I have stayed in.

Stayed at Newhaven, Edinburgh for three nights. Staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Bed was super comfy and duvet soft and cosy. Yasmin at reception went over and above her duties helping me dispose of a broken suitcase, supplied an extra duvet and even printed boarding passes for our return flight to Stanstead as I had misplaced my original copies. Her help and very pleasant manner was very much appreciated. Thank you.

Comfy bed shower was lovely and hot friendly staff went out of there way to help and give advice we will be staying again veiw from room was brilliant will be staying again in August and close to everything 10 min drive to city centre big car park
