Ordered a twin room for Mum and I, and got a room with a double bed and told no twin rooms available upon arrival. Not a great start. My main concern is the decor - I suffer with horrendous migraines and sensory overload and the rug and cushions in the living room made me physically sick in the toilet (picture attached of said rug). I told the staff about this concern, she didn’t really understand and was quite dismissive. Eventually she attempted to move us into another room with the exact same furnishings (and still no twin bed we booked). I implore the owners of this hotel to change these optical illusion, sick inducing, eye sore carpets, because, no, I’m not being dramatic, they are migraine inducing and almost ruined my day. I gave it 3 stars because the bathroom is great with a rain shower, and the kitchen had a nice a coffee machine…but there’s no double glazing so noise outside is loud at night in the bedroom. Location is quite near the trams and the station so easy to get around. Key card access so feels secure. But yeah, change the furnishings, for the love of god.
