A primeira noite custou 119 libras e a segunda noite custou ¥ 2.842 para o mesmo tipo de quarto porque o segundo dia foi uma sexta-feira. Eu entendo isso, mas o que não entendo é que se eu prolongar minha estadia, terei que mudar de quarto e tenho que fazer o check out de manhã e tenho que fazer o check out novamente às 15h. O mais interessante do check in é que o quarto é pequeno e a cama de casal é tão grande quanto a cama de solteiro. Uma pessoa no quarto pequeno tem que virar de lado ao caminhar. Fui até a recepção para perguntar por que havia uma diferença tão grande no mesmo tipo de quarto. A resposta foi que tive que pagar mais 25 libras para me trocar. Estou realmente sem palavras sobre o maior Quartos. Em suma, todos devem verificar cuidadosamente ao reservar um quarto. Não pense que condições caras significam boas condições. Não desperdice dinheiro.

Very nice and clean hotel. Spacious room with very high ceiling which was very nice. Lovely view from outside the (massive) window in the room. Lovely staff. Good breakfast. Room was well equipped with an iron, kettle, hair dryer, and a fan. The only thing is that there is no air con but for now the fan did its job which made the room temp good. Overall very good hotel, would come back.

I contacted trip.com at 4am once I received an alert that all trains from London to Edinburgh had been cancelled due to adverse weather as there was danger to life. I sent all necessary documents reflecting my cancelled train service as well as newspaper reported advising travellers of multiple train cancellations and of bad weather causing DANGER TO LIFE but the hotel REFUSED TO CANCEL my booking and provide a full refund. The cancellation was not out of MY choice but a necessity as all trains, even in Edinburgh itself, were cancelled. It was a FORCE MAJEURE EVENT. I have been an avid trip.com user for while not, but I will NEVER USE TRIP.COM AGAIN or STAY AT THIS HOTE after this incident. The customer service personnel kept insisting that the “supplier” and the hotel refused to provide a full refund despite the force majeure circumstances. My hotel reservation is with trip.com, NOT SOME “SUPPLIER”. So guys, please beware and don’t use this platform unless you’re willing to let them go off scot free and pay for hotel stays which you can’t stay at, not due to your own personal reasons for cancelling but due to bad weather that a danger to life.

Spacious room and clean but design is dated and location is a bit harder to access.

Not far from the train station, not expensive, good for one person

The room is so small and my room is near to the reception. The window is hard to close and I felt very cold.

My room was hot. Had to leave the window open in a balcony room staying alone. Made me feel very unsafe.

Room size is ok but bad layout as the room door is blocked by the bed, able to enter just annoyed with the door hitting the bed whenever we open the door, around 70-80degree swing. Toilet is small, toilet bowl is too near to the wall. Carpet feels alittle sticky. Location is ok, 10 mins walk to shopping mall. 40mins walk to Arthur's seat.
