I must say that the on ground team has made my stay absolutely wonderful. Special thanks to Subrata, Kishan, Anmol, Anisur, Rekha, Sunita, Prem - you guys have been fabulous. Your relentless efforts in ensuring that our stay is comfortable is deeply appreciated. I didn't even realise how my 7 nights passed in a flash and I have already started missing them. Please keep up the great work and I wish you all the very best! The only area of improvement is to have the approach road to the property rectified and this something that the senior ***agement and the local government have to address.

The location is great and hotel staff very courteous but the drive to the hotel was very long from Bagdogra. One bonus was evening tea/ coffee for guests. The package included pick up & drop from Bagdogra, a day's trip to Gangtok and to Nathula on another day - all at a reasonable price. The dinner was good . A unique temple was within the premises with the entire Shivji ' s family. More work needs to be done on the gym.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Went on a honeymoon trip. The spa was in the package. Well Durga gave me a memorable first spa experience. It was amazing she knew the right spots. It was an amazing experience. I could relax the way I never could before. It's a must try. Happy about the service.

The stay in the hotel is one of my best experience ever. The view of the hills from hotel is very beautiful specially at night . Also enjoyed the indoor games placed at lobby . Staff Friendliness: While most of the staff were friendly, there seemed to be a gap in their service delivery, leaving much to be desired. This could include anything from responsiveness to guest needs, to overall attentiveness. 3. Directions and Access One of the major drawbacks was the lack of clear directions to the hotel, especially noticeable when arriving at night. This led to encountering a dangerous road, highlighting the importance of clear guidance, especially in unfamiliar areas or during less-than-ideal travel conditions. 4. Travel Services: The travel desk was not only inefficient but also provided misleading information, causing frustration and wasting valuable time during the trip. Additionally, the transportation services arranged through the hotel were both slow and costly compared to local alternatives, impacting guests' convenience and budget. 5. Special Occasions: Guests looking to celebrate a special occasion during their stay were disappointed by the hotel's inability to assist with arrangements such as providing a cake or decorating the space. This lack of support may have detracted from the overall experience for those seeking to make lasting memories during their visit. Overall, while the hotel may have its merits, such as its picturesque location, the aforementioned shortcomings significantly impact the overall guest experience and warrant consideration for improvement specially when it is Taj .

Brilliant hotel with amazing staff and awesome food. Made our stay very memorable and will definitely recommend this. The additional delight was the Aarti that happened every evening. The slightly bumpy approach to the hotel is made up more than enough by the smooth experience in the hotel !

I have paid amount through website and when billing settlement came it was showing I didn’t pay. I have my cab waiting for next destination and I expect Taj hotels to be smooth. I was being convinced that hotel just blocked amount and not deduct and everything in between to give up and pay . Although the ***ager called and spoke to settle it , it leaves a bitter taste of stay. This review is not from an entitled guy but someone who used Neu card judiciously to pay for IHCL. The restaurant and room service is excellent.

Though reaching out to this amazing property is little tiring and far but the moment you land its all the worth. The welcome refreshing tea makes up for everything and the friendly smiling staff takes the load off you. Quiet, Peaceful, Serene, Fantastic view, garden and colorful flowers add to the soothing.
