Rooms are lovely - clean with everything you need. Very comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast was filling and very tasty. Staff are lovely and helpful. Really enjoyed my short stay there…will definitely stay there again.

Amazing experience overall. The place offers mesmorising scenery, has great staff, good breakfast and a lot of convenience with some restaurants within a 5 minute walk up the road. The host is super lovely and was always looking for ways to improve our experience in each day. Great suggestions as well for things to do, quite a comprehensive list to choose from.

The service we received was great and we were made to feel welcomed, the room was awesome with it's own balcony, small kitchen and great bathroom. the quality we was absolutely superb Carlene suggested a few places to eat, and we chose Grazia, great restaurant and food. We only stayed one night so did not use the pool or garden. the gardens were really beautiful with an avocado tree right on the balcony with fruit on it (awesome :)).

I had an amazing time at this guest house. It is an amazing guest house with a very friendly staff. The facilities are clean and in good condition. The staff is welcoming and always willing to help when you have questions. They go the extra mile. The breakfast was amazing and when done I was ready to take on the day. If you love plants and trees, this is a place for you, you will be close to nature. I am definitely coming back to this facility.

The Lorie Hide is in a very quiet area but near to a couple of restaurants, bars and the local Spar. The breakfast was tasty, the garden pretty, the pool clean. We particularly appreciated the toasted cheese and tomato sandwiches for our next journey, which was the scenic bit long drive to The fores5 reserve near Kokstad. The EL museum was great and well worth visiting g as was the Nelson Mandela museum on the road to Durban/Kokstad.

We arrived after a long car trip and it was total bliss to come to Loerie Hide. After a refreshing dip in the pool we felt that, although hungry, we didn’t want to go out to eat and Carlene - the perfect host - even offered to bring us take-away pizza! A highly recommended place to stay!

The reception from the host, Carlene and her staff was First Class, then the room i was booked into was out of this world. The room was spacious, well decorated in a luxurious and vintage theme with beautiful art on the walls. he bed was huge and comfortable, perfect for the rest I needed. The breakfast was great and the friendly staff were always available to assist with anything. Loved it

Carlene is a very and sweet Host. Enjoyed breakfast served in my room. I was very happy with my room as it had everything I needed. Myself and my Partner are going back in December. The location and secured parking were a bonus.
