It was ok I'm thankful that the receptionist ended up somehow forgoing the incidental charge but it wasn't without her taking forever to give us my room at 6 in the morning after I repeatedly told her I made the reservation on *******. I told her over and over that it was for the previous day not for Friday but she some how couldn't find it and eventually found it after having me wait for 20 minutes after It was a long day and if it wasn't necessary, if she could have not charged me for incidentals ine first place why even mention it?? I don't want to use the "R" word, but......anyways nice clean place the view of that mountain for someone from the city like me was glorious !

What a great stay in Durango. I would definitely stay in this hotel again. The staff is so professional and enjoy having you there. They are awesome with kids.

The stuff was very friendly have nothing bad to say about that for sure. However, the rooms could use a more TLC. The bathroom sink was clogged would fill up to the rim once the water was turn on and the carpets were very dirty.

It’s definitely an older hotel, but that’s part of its charm. It is well taken care of, clean, and staff is very friendly. Bed wasn’t super comfortable but it’s always hard to sleep somewhere other than your own bed. I would stay here again. I would recommend.

Room was basic but relatively comfortable and was in a great location, very walkable to downtown Durango.
However our room had a balcony that overlooked the train yard, and an outdoor entrance, and had a connecting room, and was very loud at night and in the morning. We also couldn’t get very hot water in the morning for a shower.

Great location in the walking distance to Main Street with lots of shopping and eating options. Cross the street Polar Express train station. Clean and comfortable hotel. Great staff and good free breakfast. The only I would give 4 stars for parking. We came for the weekend Polar Express and hotel was busy, it was little hard to find parking spot. But overall price and accommodation and location is worth it.

Loved the complimentary adult beverages for happy hour. The pool was very nice and well kept. Jacuzzi was perfect. The a**osphere was nice and the breakfast was delicious. You can tell they really want to please their guests. We arrived early and we're able to check in 2 hrs prior to check in time which was nice for us. The rooms are everything you need to a great stays. Beds were comfortable and the pillows were awesome. Overall we had a great stay and look forward to going back next time! The reason for visiting was The Polar Express and the train station was 2 minutes walking distance which made it all so much more convenient for us!
