This hotel is around 10’ walk to the main entrance of Mingsha. There are many restaurants around. The room is small but value is good. Very clean. It’s difficult to get in touch with the owner because s/he didn’t answer the phone. I had a hard time to find this hotel at first so had to ask people to find the hotel.

We had a wonderful experience at the Silk Road Inn hotel. They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 10am. We got to hotel super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The sevice was exceptional as well and even though they don’t speak English the staff did not have any problem using the phone translator to communicate. Would definitely send a friend there and stay again. The location is perfect because it is only 3 blocks always from the mingsha mountain where you can ride a camel and do so many more desert activities.

The location is nice, good for the kids and not far from the ticket office and the popular area of the desert. There are good bbq restaurants just a few steps away and a convenience store just downstairs.
However, the service is poor, we stayed 3 nights and they didn't clean the room or bothered to take the garbage away, we had to leave it at the door.
Just in front of our window there was a folk bar and they sang outside using a microphone almost till midnight.

浙江自駕西北大環線的最後一站，非常愉快的住宿，停車方便，乾淨衞生。步行去鳴沙山中門也方便。樓下很多特色美食，老婆女兒在民宿樓下“那嶼花間”拍的飛天寫真也很滿意。路邊哈密瓜討價還價十元四個，超甜！

客棧就在鳴沙山下，走過去也就1公里，非常方便。可能是淡季，房間很安靜，住起來很舒服。去了天水，蘭州，武威，張掖，嘉峪關，這是最佳的。老闆也很nice，幫預訂了敦煌西線行程，很棒

連續住了兩晚的客棧，樓頂可以晾衣服，衞生條件也不錯，老闆人比較友好。離景區近，出去玩很方便

淡季人很少，到的時候老闆還特地出來接我們。酒店似乎沒有暖氣，老闆還特地提前幫我們開了空調暖和房間。床上有電褥子，所以晚上也不會覺得冷。
美中不足的是晚上的水不太熱，枕頭似乎有些不乾淨。
如果想要住在鳴沙山附近看日出，這家是非常好的選擇，強烈推薦👍👍👍

一點個人感受，僅供參考，因為也有民宿客棧類的愛好者，所以僅作參考，也不單説是這一家的問題：隔音不好，來這裏住的人要麼為了拍照要麼就是離鳴沙山月牙泉近。有些拖家帶口的孩子會經常大吵大叫走廊亂跑，大人長者也不知為啥開着門大聲説話。如果在正規酒店，可以投訴。這裏老闆也經常不知在哪，衹能自己半夜起來吼回去。本人昨晚就吼了一家子，十一點半還在吵；兩到三天才給扔個垃圾，沒有清掃和更換床單，毛巾清洗估計就是店裡的洗衣機，這裡是沙漠呀，回來都是一身沙呀…地板也不清理；周邊吃飯地方多但是很貴，小商品貴個兩到三元，羊肉啥的能貴二十元，而且衞生狀況堪憂，沒有任何質量監管，服務態度差；綜上，敦煌是個不大的城市，建議住市中心正規賓館，打車也便宜。至於月牙泉小鎮這裏的民宿，偶爾來住一兩天還可以，三天以上不推薦這裏的任何民宿和客棧。
