Absolutely beyond my expectations! The staff were so nice! We had come from a desert camping trip and they let us check in at 8am without any question, which we were so grateful for. The shower was good and the bed was soft and comfortable. This is a huge change from our previous hotel in the moon crescent area (also ”5” star). Breakfast was plentiful and had options for all. They delivered yoghurt to the rooms in the afternoon. The location is great. It took 10 minutes to walk to the night market and mall. Overall, I would book this hotel over and over again! Fabulous! The security guard at the door took the initiative to carry luggage after seeing it. The lady at the front desk was warm and thoughtful. She wiped her hands with towels before sending tea when she entered the hotel; it is worth mentioning that the front desk saw me alone and took the initiative to upgrade the double bed room for me. The room has a humidifier. Refrigerators and safes are particularly complete. At night, the waiter is very considerate to bring the footbath, and you can soak your feet when you return to the room. The hygiene is cleaned in time and is very clean. The heating and hot water in the rooms are very good, and the service staff are polite and patient. These are real advantages. The transportation is convenient, and you can get a taxi when you go out (the lady at the front desk will help you to call a taxi), and there is a free underground parking lot. Friends who drive are not afraid of parking inconvenience. You can eat, drink and have fun near the hotel. I have recommended it to my colleagues, and I will choose Wansheng next time I come to Dunhuang.

This hotel is the best choice when you arrive in Dunhuang, beautiful view on the sand dunes and nice atmosphere, easy access to any sights. Check in was easy and fast, we arrived very early and could check in without extra charge. The breakfast is delicious and has lots of choices . The service is good, the junior stuff are very helpful and nice, however the senior manager didn’t give us the right information and the other one was arrogant and not helpful. Hopefully, this will be improved. We also had a private excursion with the driver Mike, was a nice trip, safe and interesting.

After a day of travel, I had a good sleep and was extremely satisfied. It is highly recommended for friends who travel to Dunhuang to check in. In short, the price/performance ratio is very high and it is worth staying.

We stayed in the suite for families. While there was lots of room, the room with the double bed had no window. This was not nice. We live in China and like the Chinese firm beds, but these were beyond firm and not comfortable. The pool was why we wanted to stay here, but we were not informed that it cost 25 yuan per person to use, including kids, until after our swim. Disappointing! However, the staff are very friendly. It was strange to us that they constantly entered our room when we were not there to leave services like a foot bath or a humidifier, which were not requested. The whole place has a run down feel that is kind of creepy and at this price, other hotels in the area are nicer.

The room is large and the facilities are relatively new. You have to take a taxi to go to Mogao Grottoes, Mingsha Mountain and the night market! The laundry and cleaning services are very good. Drinking water is provided. The mineral water in the room is basically unlimited. The breakfast is rich! The only drawback is that the attitude at the front desk is very average and lukewarm, maybe because there are so many people during National Day~
