Hotel located in the heart of a small town. Stayed a week in grand suite at 3rd floor. Elevator present. Plenty of space and storage room. Quality of beds: average; not very comfortable. Two big LED-tv's. Small minibar. Airco did not cool room (quickly/adequately). Just one degree Celsius in 6 hours: disappointing! During hot days room temperature at night remained 26 degrees Celsius. Not comfortable. Noisy: church bells ring every hour; also at night!. 'Rituals' amenities: minimal in number, not really useful. Personnel & staff very friendly. Great service. Truly & sincerely guest-oriented: "family feeling". Breakfast quality not in line with costs (€23). Every day same food; no variation. Restaurant at hotel: nice, affordable menu. Good quality. Best in town. Overall observation: nice hotel for a short stay. Grande suite is overpriced. Hotel could upgrade quality of its breakfast: more choice, more variation and more communication/focus on feasibility of a guest's specific menu wishes.

We visit the beautiful little town of Duderstadt and stayed at the most wonderful hotel Zum Löwen. Friendly staff and nicely renovated hotel - beautiful old building but top modern. Top nice hotel rooms with nice decor and facilities. There is a small spa, free for guests, which a nice and cozy as well as a top modern well- equipped gym. Both the city and this amazing hotel is worth visiting! Highly recommended and we will for sure be back!

Immer wieder gerne und so oft es geht. Ein unfassbar schönes Hotel, welches man in Duderstadt tatsächlich nicht erwartet würde. Modern und trotzdem sehr klassisch eingerichtet, mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail. Wirklich eine Wohlfühloase. Sehr gutes Restaurant mit vernünftigen Preisen. Die Karte ist sehr zeitgemäß und da findet wirklich jeder etwas. Den Spa Bereich habe ich leider noch nie benutzt, dies tatsächlich aus Zeitgründen, da ich leider immer nur beruflich dort nächtige. Es gehört mittlerweile zu meinen Favoriten, wenn dann ein Zimmer frei ist. Jetzt kommt leider das einzige Manko (Schade): Das Frühstücksbuffet ist völlig in Ordnung, aber unfassbar überteuert. 26€…, da erwarte ich tatsächlich viel viel mehr. Ich übernachte beruflich, Minimum, einmal pro Woche und da kenne ich andere Hotels, mit gleicher Leistung, da bin ich beim Frühstück zwischen 15€ und 20€. Mit Sicherheit komme ich immer wieder sehr gerne, ob ich aber nochmals das Frühstück buche, ich denke eher nicht. Eventuell sollte man einmal darüber nachdenken?!

Sehr schönes Hotel , zentral gelegen aber ruhig , sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal ( von Direktor über Rezeption, im Restaurant und das das Reinigungspersonal. Zimmer sehr geräumig und modern/hochwertig ausgestattet. Speisen Auswahl und Qualität beim Frühstück und im Restaurant sehr gut. Parkplatz in der Nähe . Kommen sehr gerne wieder .

Wir haben den Jahreswechsel mit Freunden im Hotel zum Löwenin Duderstadt verbracht und waren begeistert! Das Silvesteranrangemt war ausgezeichnet, alles sehr gut organisiert - Fackellauf auf dem Wall - Abendessen - gemütliche Runde im Kaminzimmer - Besuch des "Rinderstalls" und eine tolle Führung in der HGN - Kunsthalle ( absolut Sehenswert!) Das Silvestermenu war eine Wucht - die Weine und Champagner erstklassig - Getränke übrigens im Arrangement enthalten- man merkt ganz klar das der Hoteldirektor und sein Stellvertreter langjährige 5 Sterne Erfahrung haben! Der Fitnessraum mit Saune und Salzgrotte sowie Swimmingpool sehr schön! Massage top! Auch "Schreck" der Hund unserer Freunde war begeistert über die liebevolle Behandlung. Wir bewohnten die Junior Suite mit Balkon, sehr ruhig und Preis Leistung stimmten voll und ganz! Wir werden bald wieder einige Tage in diesem schönen Top geführten Hotel verbringen - sehr zu empfehlen.
