We used this hotel as a stopover travelling from the Eurotunnel at Calais and onwards to Bavaria. This was our first time here although we have been making this journey over the last 25 years. Our usual stopover just outside Dor**und was unavailabe due to the Main road being closed for the weekend. So, we found L' Arrivee on TA and decided to book a room. And we were glad we did. This is a fine hotel with quiet comfortable bedrooms. Also we had a lovely dinner in the restaurant here and a good breakfast before we departed the next morning. Also I am a car nut and like to take care of my car. And L'Arrivee has a lot of safe, secure parking. So I think we might have just have discovered our new regular stopover on our way from the Eurotunnel terminal and onwards into Deutschland.

Nice hotel in a nice location on the outskirts of Schwerte. The reception is well laid out, staff are attentive and rooms are clean and functional. My only grip is that, there is no blinds in the bathroom so when the sun comes up, it wakes you up irrespective of whether the curtains are closed or not. There is a great pub a hundred metre down the road, and has some fantastic meals available.

Great hospitality ! If you have to look for something to improve Breakfast could fo with some more variety. Staff, however, always very attentive.

We had a business meeting with 50 people over 3 days. I was lucky and received an Upgrade to a Junior Suite. This had a great toilet, comfortable bed and nice views. Also the conference facilities were ok. The buffet style breakfast and lunch were also better than average. Would come back here
