J.Lalli  Resort

Location was good as it is near yucun village and in turn, the moganshan scenic area. There is however a severe dearth of information on how to get up / around the moganshan scenic area, and even asking the hotel staff didn’t seem to help. Given winter, there was close to nothing to do on the hotel compound. The hotel breakfast was as bad as the other reviews made it out to be (IMO, basically unpalatable). The bathroom / room also seemed to smell of sewage (perhaps due to lack of use over the winter period). No complaints about calling a golf cart to take us around the grounds. Was quick and easy. Staff were generally helpful. Not the easiest for non-mandarin speakers. Wouldn’t be a repeat stay for me.

I stayed at the hotel with my wife for a weekend. Rachel at the reception was very helpful and attentive during our stay. We will definitely want to come back.

We had a great stay, the room was large, comfortable and very clean. Kids enjoyed all the activities onsite. The hotel grounds are amazing, and it is within walking distance from the village. We had an English speaking customer representative, Rachel, which was great because she helped us order a buggy whenever needed and also answered other practical questions. The only part which was more complicated was the service at the western restaurant, we waited a very long time for our food and there were a lot of misunderstandings… but otherwise I fully recommend staying at this hotel!

We had a great two nights at J.Lalli. The staff were all very helpful (especially Rachel). The rooms were big with great views across the resort. There were lots of activities for children including horse riding which our daughter loved. The only disappointment was the breakfast. The buffet was poor, with a focus on quantity over quality. The other restaurant food (Chinese and Western) was nice, though it would help if all menus were translated into English. Overall a nice stay!

Excellent stay with my family at the Joe Lalli Resort. Room is extremely spacious and clean. Everyone at the hotel is friendly and welcoming. The Hotel has lots of activities for kids. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling with children.

Stunning location. great service. rooms are large and very clean. perfect for family or couple weekends.

The resort is surrounded by hills/ mountains and the ambience is very refreshing. The air is fresh and all the staff are very friendly. Our guest service contact point was very helpful and arranged whatever we needed ( water , trolley for pickup, other information about resort etc) very efficiently. The breakfast was mix of western and Chinese and had sufficient spread.

This resort was recommended by a friend. Being foreigners, Niko/Nicole contacted us to set up a WeChat discussion to cover any questions and translation needs. All of our questions were answered very quickly - thank you Niko! The resort is located in a peaceful valley and quite spread out with plenty of area to walk around. Or you can call and there are a number of golf carts that will take you between parts of the resort - very convenient. We especially enjoyed the views and serenity of the onsite tea fields and peach trees and walnut (?) trees. Discovery Adventures is on the property but we did not visit that. All staff we interacted with were very courteous, helpful and looked like they were enjoying their jobs! While we were there (May 8-9) the pool was temporarily closed and the some of the water flow/pond area was being refurbished.
