The Acoma House

The Acoma House is a hidden gem in downtown Denver that I highly recommend to everyone who wants to experience the city while appreciating the art that city has to offer. First things first, the building and room was IMMACULATE - not so much as a random spec of dust. The bed was comfortable. While we didn’t use it, the kitchenette was well-apportioned and clean. They left ear plugs, but I don’t know why. Maybe it’s louder at different times of the year? It was quiet and comfortable, which is everything that part of town is not. The location is a block off Broadway, so you’re *there*, just not listening to the loudness of the street. We went to my office holiday party a block away and enjoyed Torchy’s Tacos and Tiff’s Treats around the corner. This will be our stop in downtown any time we need to stay there.

Our stay at the Acoma House was absolutely incredible! We loved the amazing location, extreme cleanliness, attention to detail, gorgeous artistry in every space and all of the well thought out amenities! The bed was exceptionally comfortable, the light blocking shades were super helpful for the bright mornings, the pre pasted toothbrushes, ample towels, bedding, and cozy blankets really made this hotel stand out from many that we have stayed in! We can't wait to come back to Denver and try out a different room at the Acoma!

A unique hotel where each room was designed by a different local artist and impeccably decorated! Our room, 201, had a floral theme. It also had a top notch kitchen and a living room you felt right at home in. There were many special decorative touches ! The very comfortable bed had soft sheets and comfy pillows. The toiletries provided were of high quality. Parking at the lot next to the building was very convenient. We were able to get a three day pass at half price from the hotel. It was a very short walk to the Denver Art Museum and a bit longer to the state capital and city hall. We would definitely stay here again!

Found this gem online where all 24 rooms are mural themed each by a separate local artist. Booked rm 207 specifically at recommendation of the hotel Manager and wow did this place overdeliver! Amazingly decorated and very spacious 1 BR suite w/ full kitchen and a great price! Perfectly stocked with ice and full glassware, plates etc. (not plastic)! Clean and clutter free room and hallways with a self serve bag storage area, this was perfect for an on-the-go trip! Can't wait to return!! 5⭐️

So generally this place is really nice. Clean, and comfortable, where I have my problem is the walls are super thin. I could hear our neighbor talking on the phone at 5AM as if he was in our bathroom or something. It was thankfully a short call, but it woke me and my wife up and definitely was not ideal. Honestly other than that it’s a great place to stay. Good location. Nice clean rooms. The art is an additional nice touch.

The property was extremely clean. The mattress was comfortable. The bath towels were plush. Everything was in good condition and working order. The kitchen was well stocked. Loved, loved the free water. This property probably provided more toiletries than any other place I have stayed. The location was super. It wasn’t quite as busy as the downtown core, but still very walkable. There are two coffee shops less than a block away. The neighborhood felt very safe during the day and early evening hours. Lots of young professionals living in the area. The luggage storage is a great plus for anyone flying. The parking lot always had space, and it was about 1/3 the price of other downtown hotels. As another reviewer mentioned, the claw foot tubs can be slippery, but there’s a rubber mat under the sink which solved the problem. Parking lot was a little lively during what I assume was bar closing hours on the weekend (2-3 AM), but there was an obvious security car presence. AC didn’t quite reach the separate bedroom, but a fan kept it comfortable. Book a room on the first floor if you are unable to haul luggage upstairs. Overall, the building is well insulated from street noise. The manager is very prompt with answering text messages. Make sure you receive a code in an EMAIL when paying for parking so you can validate it. I had some issues with this, but the lot has a different owner, so it was not the hotel’s fault. I would recommend this lodging.
