Quality Inn Decherd / Winchester

Free breakfast had watered down waffle mix the first day. Toast but no jam to put on it. Biscuits were hard. Second day there was hard biscuits. Third day only coffee or juice no food…

The outside door alignment was bad which you see the outside lights through. There was a hole size about 1 1/2 in diameter on the corner door opening which we put a shoe against so no critters could enter through. Toilet paper holder coming out of the wall. Shower very outdated. Will not be booking with Quality Inns in the future.

The sleeping pillows were stamp size. The floor in the bathroom was dirty and the corners were caked on dirt. The bathroom door had to be slammed to shut. The accent chair was soiled in several places not knowing what the spoilage was we didn’t feel we should use it! Received clean dry towels after the first night but not after the second night.

We stayed for 2 nights and they would not let us have more than 3 towels. Some people do not use the same towel over and over.

Filth warning! I rarely give hotel reviews but this one was so filthy that I need to warn others. Where to start... toilet had poop on it, no hot water in shower, faucet handle fell off in my hand, floor honestly looked like no one ever cleans it. Every cup had sticky plastic cellophane with holes all over. Sheets were not only stained, but dirty like they never change them. Entry door had gaps to outside and appeared to have been kicked in. Musty room smell. Breakfast waffle batter poured like water and was too thinned down to cook right. Cereal but no bowls even upon request. No napkins, no bread or muffins or pastries of any kind even though the picture on the website shows them. Desk ladies were very nice and apologetic to the customers complaints. Don't book at this hotel!!

Staff were welcoming and cordial. Rooms have been updated. Quiet and comfortable room.

My assigned room had a smoker in it the day before, (they offered to spray it) they gave me a different room. I was checking in around 9:30-10pm, why didn’t they air it out and spray it in the morning when they discovered it… Only one bed was completely made up, the other bed had its linen on it but wasn’t tucked in… The security flip thingy to prevent people from coming in was installed incorrectly, it was very loose and the screws weren’t seemed to be in the wrong place. The room appeared to be clean at first then it was noticed that there was trash behind the nightstand, beds, and bureau. The bathroom door had a hole in it, from what looked like it was slammed against the metal bed frame… Some of the lightbulbs were missing. The staff that I interacted with were very polite and helpful. The second day the cleaning person knocked and since I was busy at that moment I said I’m fine today. They didn’t come back the next day, they were two doors down as I left in the morning. Last year my stay was excellent, the room was convenient and clean, this year not so much. I will give them one more try next year to see if they are back on track… so far they are 1-1 next year will be the tiebreaker.

OIL SPILL ON PARKING LOT CAUSED BOTH MY HUSBAND AND I TO SLIP AND FALL! No washcloths were available and tub faucet dripped continuously! Hole in sheet!
