"This mountain guesthouse, built on the site of an abandoned school, is beautifully decorated by the owner. The courtyard is spacious, allowing children to ride bikes and play basketball. A stream flows outside the courtyard, where geese and ducks swim leisurely. We avoided the crowds early in the morning to visit the Golden Avenue, and in the afternoon, after resting, we went down the mountain to pick chestnuts. We ate dinner at the guesthouse that evening, and watching the owner's mother busily preparing dishes and killing chickens gave me a feeling of returning to my hometown for Chinese New Year 😀. Dinner was very sumptuous; they even brought out their homemade plum wine made with rum and thoughtfully served the children lemon honey water. There were fireworks and karaoke in the evening – truly the highest level of hospitality! Finally, the owner took us to a local's house to pick navel oranges and recommended the Meiguan Scenic Area in Dayu, which was also very nice. The ginkgo avenue was just as beautiful as the Golden Avenue, and we could even see red maple trees on the mountain, but unfortunately, the weather wasn't great. The children said they wanted to come back again next time."
