Lost In Nature Hotel

Uma ótima experiência, a atitude de serviço dos funcionários do hotel é muito boa, o artesanato do chef também é muito bom, é muito conveniente para comer, viver e brincar, o hotel tem uma varanda com uma bela vista, e você nem precisa ir para Mingshi Garden para ver o cenário. 😁 fazer um pote de chá e sentar-se na varanda para ver a paisagem verde, que é muito agradável. Eu reservei dois tipos de quarto. O quarto para pais e filhos é definitivamente grande o suficiente para crianças pequenas e definitivamente não é chato. Se pretende desfrutar da paisagem sem limites, recomenda-se reservar um quarto com varanda, o que é absolutamente económico!

This is a lovely property situated in the heart of the Mingshi Scenic Village. The staff are incredibly friendly and happy. The hotels food is simple but delicious and the location couldn’t be better. Rooms are clean and the Mountain View rooms provide a beautiful look out onto the local scenery. Overall this is a great place to stay if you are visiting this region.

The hotel is very nice and cosy. The staff mostly is awesome and very friendly. Excellent food at the restaurant and every evening there was a small special thing (bread, soup, etc…). Every evening there was an outdoor fire and cooking in a wood fired oven. The owner is very friendly and ready to help. Food and breakfast are excellent. No western food. For breakfast , there is good coffee available. It is possible to get bread and fried eggs on demand if you don’t like Chinese breakfast. Surroundings are great. You can borrow bikes from the hotel to go around through the rice fields and the mountains. Great place to use a drone if you have one. It was too cold for us but there is a swimming pool on the rooftop with an outstanding view. We visited the Detian water falls and the Gulongshan canyon. To sum up, great place for a family trip or for couples

A gem of a place! Surrounded by karst stone mountains, this small hotel provides a truly serene experience. The staff were friendly and assisted with any request we had including transport arrangements from the train station and to the Detian Waterfall. The hotel also served delicious meals. Our room was spacious and had amazing views of the Mingshi Village mountains. Bicycle were available at the location for free to explore the nearby areas. Wish the weather was warmer for a swim at the roof top pool. Would definitely recommend.

Love this hotel, everything is on point! Good service by the staff and, the hotel and rooms are beautiful! We booked 4 rooms with different configuration. The rooms are cosy, clean, big and comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting de tian. We'll definitely be back again!

Hua Lu (Lost in Nature) Hotel My wife and I stayed here for three nights in December 2023, but regretted that our schedule did not allow us to stay longer. The Hua Lu Hotel is a charming boutique hotel located in the Ming Shi village that features clusters of needle mountains that aggressively protrude from what otherwise appears to be a level agricultural plain. The origins of the village were for its farming potential but the stunning beauty of the location has popularized it as a tourist haunt, a place to visit either before or after checking out the Detian Waterfall on the China-Vietnam border. In among the locals’ modest houses, several B&Bs and hotels have sprouted to cater to tourists wanting a wide spectrum of accommodations from the extremely basic up to relatively high-end resorts. The Hua Lu (Lost in Nature) is best categorized as a high-end boutique hotel. It is situated on the eastern periphery of Ming Shi well away (approximately a kilometer) from a busy highway around which many of its competitors are clustered. The accent at the Hua Lo is on tranquility. Our room was a well-conceived suite that had been furnished with a Zen sensibility. The bathroom featured an oversize bathtub and separate shower unit, and there was a spacious and comfortable sitting area. A south-facing balcony overlooked an intensely cultivated, multi-acre market-garden, irrigated by river-fed, man-made channels. Locals could be observed tending crops from dawn to dusk in these fields. A Chinese style breakfast was included the room fee, but we also opted to eat dinner each evening in the hotel restaurant. Both breakfast and dinner meals were prepared with an accent on health and use of locally grown foods. After dark, an open fireplace in a courtyard was used to barbecue snacks such as sweet potato and chicken: the courtyard doubled as a children’s play area and storage place for bicycles (pedal) which could be used by hotel guests. Evidence suggests that tourism has trumped agriculture as the main occupation of the Ming Shi village. For tourists who prefer a more communal experience, the village offers guided sampan tours on the river that wends its way through the village. However, the best way to benefit from the village scenery is by bicycle. Cycling around the village and its dramatic needle-mountain vistas is easy, the bike trails are converted ag paths that intertwine the crop fields. They are paved and free of the traffic of tourist coaches, trucks and E-scooters that rage along the main highway. My wife and I felt that we had come across a gem of experience that vastly exceeded our expectations when we booked the hotel. We plan to visit again next year, to enjoy a longer stay with the R&R it provides. Sean Bennett

Had an amazing stay at this place! Super quiet location, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. They arranged a car for our daily trips, suggested great places to visit, and even provided free bicycles to explore the area. The panoramic rooms offer breathtaking views of beautiful scenery. Highly recommend for a picturesque experience!Delicious food and overall ensured we had the best stay. Wonderful staff at the front desk, in the kitchen, and dining area. Special thanks to Miss Jin Lin !! Can't wait to come back! Pleasant experience overall!

Excellent view and great service. Relaxing place to chill and enjoy the weather. Bathtub view in the evening. Hotel breakfast is good. Lunch and dinner good too.

Fantastic modern accomodation located in a quaint village with a dreamy ethereal karst backdrop. The rooms are spacious and open to a great view. Good quality furnishings are used. On the top floor there is a nice pool with an even better view of the surroundings. Breakfast is very local food but very generous and filling. In the evening, they also provide warm newly baked bread. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Overall, would totally recommend this accomodation for visitors to Mingshi (just a short bike ride away) and Detian Waterfall (about 45 mins by car).
