Great Location, located by lower ferry, room in period setting in keeping with furnishings, quality bedding, Amazing is it gonna rain farm house cooked breakfast, Slig tha Slightly noisy in the late evenings, but earplugs are provided if required. This is the yellow stone.

The service we received at the Bayards Cove Inn for our weekend in Dartmouth was exceptional. All the team worked hard to make our stay memorable. The room we stayed in was lovely and the staff could not have been more helpful. We are looking forward to returning in December.

A really lovely hotel. Had a beautiful, spacious room (Mountbatten) . Yes- there is some noise from the bar/kitchen , but it’s not intrusive, and not late. Staff are kind, thoughtful and so pleasant , the food was wonderful, stayed for 3 nights and chose to eat there every night . Cannot recommend highly enough

Beautiful building in a gorgeous location, staff very friendly and welcoming, food was delicious, room was gorgeous. Only bad points were there was some noise from the restaurant at night but it stopped when the restaurant had closed, also our bed wasn't the comfiest it was hard as nails and the feather pillows which I hate were most uncomfortable, I get neck pain and back pain sometimes so need good supportive mattress and pillow, the one we had wasn't good enough in room 5, which they named Jervis! Overall it was good but bed could of been better.

The room was lovely. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The room was really clean and well-presented. The room we were in (Mountbatten) had a sofa in a small lounge area. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We asked for fresh milk for our morning tea and they left some for us. They even give you a little bag with some care items in it when you check out. It was a lovely place to stay with great staff. Not a negative for us, but you can hear the kitchen (which is upstairs) in this room's shower room. It didn't disturb us at all, and I had thought it might. You can't hear anything from the room.

Just a strange experience. What a great start - really friendly service, lovely food for the mains and then... well, I don't really know. The pro-active happy service completely dropped off. No one came to us so we asked for the menu for desserts and then no one came back to ask what we wanted. Bizarre. Would have been an easy 5 * review too.

As a family plus we stayed for one night over the regatta, in the family suite. We ate dinner and breakfast. I can’t recommend the Inn highly enough. The staff were all truly excellent. Professional, friendly and welcoming. There were numerous little touches that many more expensive hotels might learn from - decent coffee with an cafetière, nice tea, and free bottled water. The food was all beautifully presented and high quality. Finally, the location is 30 seconds from the water. Lovely.

We had an evening meal it was delicious. Staff always friendly & efficient. We enjoyed the fish chowder & shrimp burger Very delicious, we come here regularly & are always bet pleased with the choice & standard of food. The chef is always willing to amend the ingredients to suit

Amazing accommodation provided with everything you need and more, super considerate in their treatment of dogs. Lovely location with the harbour right on the doorstep. Friendly and welcoming staff. Perfect opportunity for families with dogs
