Blue Mountains View

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and we didn’t enjoy it so much. The owner is very friendly and helpful, but the rest is leaving a lot behind. Localization of the hotel is super far away from center. Rooms are without air conditioning only a small ventilator. The room was full of smell. Toilet was leaking. We shared our experience with other guests, who didn’t like the stay as well. Although the food was very good. Is more kind of home stay than a hotel.

This was the perfect Homestay with Pradeep and his family. The rooms we stayed in were brand new. They were exceptionally clean with the most comfortable king size beds with mosquito nets. Pradeep was a fantastic host who could not do enough to make our stay perfect - he organised trips for us to Polonnaruwa ruins and Sigiriya. He was always on hand to answer our questions and tell us about Sri Lanka life. The communal meals with the other guests was a great experience. The food cooked by Pradeep’s mum was the best we ate in Sri Lanka. The property is situated on an organic farm which Pradeep and his father produce fruit, veg, spices and rice using permaculture techniques. A highlight of our stay was to have a tour around the farm with Pradeep identifying all the produce they grow and sustain their business and family. Pradeep is the most charismatic, caring host whose number one aim is to ensure his guests are happy and comfortable. I highly recommend Blue Mountains View Homestay and would not hesitate to stay here when next in Dambulla.

Best homestay in sri lanka.we had a really nuce time with pradeep and his family .pradeeps mother is really good cooking.we was visit pradeep's organic farm.we see lot of vegitables and fruits in his garden.i can highly recomend this wondrrful place

We had such a lovely stay with Pradeep and his family. He made gorgeous rooms right in the backyard of their farm. He was so welcoming and generous. His mom made the best food right from the products out of their garden. We loved to come back again and see how he is doing. Very fun place to be with kids too! (Our son (7) had the best time klimbing trees and wandering the garden. Our daughter (10) loved the hammock!) Really recommand!! Ps: call Pradeep before you arrive. He knows a much better road than Google Maps wants you to follow😉

Our stay in Blue Mountains View was amazing. Pradeep is such a nice guy who will do everything to make you feel comfortable. He went with us to a river nearby where we could swim, he took us to the ricefields, and showed us his organic garden. The whole stay was amazing. The cooking skills from Pradeep his mother are amazing. Everything we ate was made of the organic garden. In the evening we ate with the other guests and had some drinks with everybody. We would definitly recommend to go to Blue Mountains View!!!!

We've stayed two nights at Pradeep's Guest House and we loved it! Pradeep took us swimming in the lake and the canal, showed us his organic plantations where the food for the fantastic meals comes from and showed us the sundown at the rice field in his village. Furthermore we were allowed to visit his school which was a great experience. We highly recommend to go and stay at Blue Mountains View!

Blue mountains view is the really beautifull place around dambulla.who like to enjoy orthentic experience here is the best place.local life,organic foods everything is perfect .we like to come back..owner also very kind and helpful

Pradeep’s kindness and hospitality was one of the highlights of our Sri Lanka trip. We were there with 3 friends, and Pradeep made us feel like being at home; in the evening we played games with all the guests and introduced Pradeep to some of our favorite music; during the day he took us to a river where we had a refreshing swim. The typical Sri Lankan food that was served for dinner and breakfast was really nice. Would certainly recommend staying at Pradeep’s place!
