Beautiful, quiet property with extremely comfortable beds and pillows (I have a “Princess and the Pea” body, so I’d know). Service was exceptional- maintenance arrived in five minutes. Only issue with the room was no USB plug-in but the night manager brought a plug to my door in under five minutes. No room service and the restaurant closed at 3 PM but there are a plethora of restaurants within a ten minute drive. Beautiful walking/jogging trails, if that’s your thing. Front desk staff was not very friendly or helpful until I finally got to speak with the night manager who bent over backwards to give excellent customer service. This is an old, old property exceptional maintained and shared grounds with the Cooper Institute. All the buildings are separate (spa, restaurant, fitness center, hotel) so be prepared to walk a short distance to enjoy the amenities. When I’ve lived in Dallas during the past 40 years, I’ve noticed the property when I’ve driven by and have always been curious about it so I thought I’d give it a try when I was in town for a few days. Glad I did.
