I can safely say Intercontinental is one of the best hotels in Dalian after having stayed in many Dalian hotels. For starters we got a room upgrade and early check in and late check out. The hotel also gave us complimentary coffee and fruit soon after checking in. The room was clean, comfortable, modern and had a gorgeous city view. The amenities were satisfactory and their Breakfast buffet had a wide range of Western and Chinese cuisine to choose from. Special thanks to Jason from the fitness centre and Winnie and Kevin from the front desk for their excellent service they especially made sure our stay was enjoyable. The only downside is that I think the Chinese restaurant staff could use some training the service there was the least professional but in my opinion it didn't takeaway from the overall experience.

I've stayed at this location multiple times. It is a good location and I enjoy the house band in the pub (located in the basement). The Kempeski is definitely showing its ago, however. The marblework in the bathroom is cracked and some of the flooring is stained. The public bathroom (to the right of the lobby) is in desperate need of a makeover, i.e. recaulk the edges of the lavatory and do a deep steam cleaning of all tile. Breakfast was superb and the wait staff was doing a great job turning tables around for the next customers. I would probably stay again, but only if the prices are reduced.

Facilities: Complete and well maintained. Hygiene: Very hygienic, from the room to the corridor, lobby, and restaurant. Environment: The environment is elegant, and there is a noble and elegant fragrance as soon as you enter the lobby. This taste has not changed in twenty years. Service: Professional and enthusiastic service. The bedding in the room was very comfortable.

Hotel Nikko is a throwback to the 1990's. It is well maintained and very comfortable hotel. In fact, I moved from another 5 star hotel to this one mid weekend. The decor is a little dated, BUT of the 3 hotels in downtown Dalian that I have used over this last year I think Nikko is my favorite. Their service is excellent. The food is good. (Breakfast is great and the Japanese restaurant is good) The atmosphere of the hotel is very nice and upscale. I like that there is a Lawson's near the lobby, in the adjoining office/apartment building. When I called to request they lower the temperature in my room, they said they could not adjust the thermostat; however, they did offer me a fan. Within 5 minutes housekeeping brought a very nice standing fan which worked great. My next trip downtown I think I'll start with Hotel Nikko.

I stayed in an executive room. The service provided by the executive lounge team was amazing (actually the best I have received in China). The breakfast and afternoon tea in the lounge was amazing. One day I went to the buffet for breakfast and was disappointed by the cleanliness of it, so I decided to just eat at the lounge. The laundry team was also great. They noticed one of my dresses had a small issue so they fixed it. Most of the staff spoke at least some English, it was the first time in China that even the housekeeper could speak English.

Hotel was very nice. The hotel had great facilities and the breakfast was excellent. The one thing they need to change is the beds. They aren’t very comfortable and they are springy.

The room was comfortable and the bed was so good that I almost fell into a coma when I lay down. The service is attentive. They knew it was my birthday and gave me a small gift. It was very heart-warming~ The breakfast was rich in variety. I will consider staying here next time~

The hotel was nice and in a great location. The room had modern furniture, no carpets that can get dirty easily and overall a nice layout with enough space for two persons. Room incl bathroom was very clean. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t say anything about it. Staff doesn’t speak English, so might be difficult if you don’t speak any Chinese at all.

Check-in was excellent, the reception gave me a higher floor as per my request and let me know in advance it would be a corner room in the 8th floor. Room is very clean with almost no smell except for cleaning vinegar smell in the bathroom. It's side by side with the sister hotel and the street is very near the friendship Plaza (roundabout) and the metro. The only issue is crossing the road to get to the metro is via an underpass. Safe for lady travelers. There's many eateries and food streets around. The famous 松云居 is maybe 8 min walk away.

This hotel is very good. It is the most ideal hotel among the several hotels I have stayed in Dalian. The handsome guys and beautiful women at the front desk received very warm reception. I think it is a very cost-effective hotel. The breakfast is KFC's breakfast, which is very good. The transportation is also very convenient, very close to the subway entrance and there are several bus stops in front of the hotel. There is a parking lot at the door, free of charge. The hotel is very distinctive, as evidenced by pictures and videos. In the future, no matter if you are on business or travel to Dalian, you will definitely stay in this hotel.

This hotel is my favorite place to stay when I return to Dalian in 2023. Let me talk about the advantages: 1. Excellent location, you can solve everything in a hundred steps: 2. The bedding is excellent and your sleep is better than at home. 3. The room service lady is kind, diligent and responsive to all requests. 4. The breakfast is rich in variety, and the tea, fruits and snacks picked up by the front desk are very considerate and pleasant. 5. Self-service laundry room and treadmill (although the instruments are not easy to use) 6. You can hail a taxi at the door, which is friendly to the elderly. 7. The two boys at the front desk are young and professional. Regardless of whether they can meet the needs of customers, they do their best. shortcoming: The young girl at the front desk is really a decoration and a burden. Almost the first reaction when a guest makes a request is: no, no, no, no sense of service at all 😂 and the response is slow and inefficient. Once there are no guests, they start to climb on the counter and check their mobile phones, or fight with colleagues. It really feels like they are here to damage the image of the hotel. It seems that instead of having a facade, the front desk needs some 35-year-old older ladies with service spirit, rather than those young ladies who are ignorant of the world and need others to look at their ignorant faces! I really have a strong feeling when I come here this time. As a Dalian person, I know that we speak loudly and harshly, but you are the front desk. I really like the front desk of a big hotel in the city center. Dealing with yourself and guests in this way is good for yourself and the guests. The hotel's one is irresponsible! Evaluate carefully! Speak from the bottom of my heart!

Food: Downstairs is Tianjin Street snacks, all kinds of snacks, especially convenient! Especially the pig's trotters are soft and the pork belly is very crispy! Accommodation: Life-style apartment, all facilities are complete! Hair dryers are standard, there are washing machines, power strips, and you need to bring a charger line, and even the plug can be saved. The store also prepared disposable items intimately, even the toilet pad thought of it, it was really convenient! And the bed was very clean and tidy, YYDS! However, the price is cheap, or the sea view room, the bed tables and chairs are very clean. Because it is a viewing room, I took a few photos taken from the high altitude. Great location! In the CBD of the old city of Dalian, it takes about 5 minutes to walk to the subway entrance, and there are many delicious foods around! I live in a wooden double bed, one bed is 1.5, and the other is 1.2. It is very comfortable for a family to live in. The small refrigerator is the tea and cola in the mini bar, which is really good~
