Hotéis perto de Renmin Road, Cidade de Dali

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped us moved the luggage from the drop off point to the hotel and booked a ferry service for my family. The hotel was very tastefully designed and the bed was very comfortable. The only drawback was the lack of clothes hook in the bathroom for you to hang clothes when you bath. The local breakfast set was very big in portion and tasty. The hotel is located on a little island that is linked to the main land by a small bridge. The whole shuanglang gu zhen is very busy and lots of shops to walk around.

Honest Review of Our Stay Near Erhai Lake, Dali 🇨🇳 As a Malaysian traveler exploring Yunnan, I stayed at a homestay apartment near Erhai Lake—and here’s my honest take: ✅ Inside the homestay: Very clean, well-furnished, and cozy. Everything was nicely prepared and felt like a proper home. The highlight was definitely the stunning lake view right from our window—perfect for sunrise lovers. 👩💼 Host experience: The homestay staff was incredibly friendly and understanding. She even arranged a free ride from the railway station, which we truly appreciated after a long day of travel. 🚧 Outside facilities: This is where it gets a bit mixed. The overall apartment complex (including the parking lot and elevator) felt poorly maintained, and the atmosphere at night was dark and slightly eerie, especially for solo travelers or couples. Many neighboring units seemed unoccupied, which added to the quiet, empty vibe. 📍 Location: Take note—this place is about 50 minutes from Dali Ancient City, so it’s not ideal if you’re planning to explore the old town daily. But if you want to relax by the lake and enjoy peace and views, it could work. Overall: Great homestay unit and host, but the apartment surroundings and distance might not suit everyone. #YunnanTravel #DaliHomestay #ErhaiLakeView #MalaysiaToChina #HonestTravelReview

O Hotel Mountain Resort está perto Dali Old Town.

Oh, you have to hear about my recent stay at a hot spring hotel in Erhai, Dali! It offered the most breathtaking views and truly exceptional service I've ever encountered. The weather was simply divine during my visit, and waking up to that fantastic vista of the lake and mountains each morning was just so refreshing and peaceful for the soul. The manager was an absolute gem – so friendly and full of brilliant suggestions for activities and places to explore. He even thoughtfully arranged a sleeping guard for the kids' bed, just in case, which was such a kind gesture! I also really appreciated how, when I inquired about a gym with day access, he personally looked into it and got back to me that same afternoon. And that evening, when I was ready to go, he had the butler drive me right there! It was truly a fantastic experience for my entire family. I couldn't recommend this place more highly!

Returning to Dali from Jizu Mountain, I temporarily chose to stay at Jinsuo Island. I have been to Dali many times, and this is my first time on the island. This hotel is indeed the most satisfactory one. The room has an unbeatable sea view. You can see the sea and the sunrise while lying on the bed. The facilities are very smart and the hygiene is also very clean. Super cost-effective! The breakfast in the sea view restaurant is also a little surprise.

I specifically chose this hotel because it's very close to Dali Station. I often stay at Hilton's budget brands for transit, and while the price here wasn't low, and the hardware was relatively new, the overall experience was truly disappointing. I booked a garden view room, expecting to see a courtyard, but opening the window revealed a direct view of an urban village, with a parking lot right below. It felt nothing like a 'garden' at all. The breakfast, in particular, was a huge letdown. The self-service area was just a tiny mini-island with salad, fruit, yogurt, egg tarts, and sliced bread – a pitifully small selection. There were hardly any Western pastries, not even a simple croissant. Besides that, there was only a noodle station with 'crossing the bridge' rice noodles, and what looked like overnight fried rice and noodles. The quality was even worse than a 30-yuan hot spring hotel breakfast. What you see in the picture is pretty much all there was to eat. After reading other reviews that mentioned a pool, beach, and children's water toys, I seriously wonder if I went to the wrong hotel. On the positive side: the self-service laundry area was excellent, clean, and comfortable. Also, there's a wide variety of takeout options around the hotel, making ordering food very convenient. These two points are a big plus for business travelers and those staying overnight in transit. While the location, laundry facilities, and takeout options are suitable for a layover, considering the price, the discrepancy in views and breakfast offerings is significant. I'd advise lowering your expectations before checking in.
