The hotel is one of the earlier hotels on the island. There are fewer people here, which is very suitable for people who like quiet. The hotel has its own beach, bar and diving centre, with boat rides from Cebu to the hotel beach. The facilities in the room are old, but they are large and have a balcony. The food in the hotel restaurant tastes good. It is also a good choice if you don't want to go after tired diving. The water outside the beach is shallow and the visibility is good. Snorkeling with children is a good location, but be careful of sea urchins.

We arrived at the hotel with two bikes and baggage driven by rooms. No reception, delivery of keys in the hand and driven to our room. It was good that the room was comfortable, clean and very spacious, and in the bathroom c was the shower heating, which was not recently. It was also a diving center but no one was uncomfortable to offer something to us, my husband and I went to dive, and we asked for a boat to rent, but we waited for nothing for someone to get us. The restaurant is so, but no one wants to take a scooter to cross the streets in the middle of the bars. The positive note was the unique beach in all that landfill to be called beach, but the coral barrier destroyed by the boats, and the fruit cocktails and smoothies to enjoy on the beach. This island was a great disappointment, given the distance and time to reach us, you could have gone to some other island to end in beauty with nature and dives. It takes a lot more than 3 hours to get out of Cebu with a private taxi driver, risking life every meter. Hotel location is particularly good, just at the pier! Get off the boat! It is convenient to go anywhere, similar to the middle position. However, the infrastructure is relatively poor, and it is a bit dirty. Although it is cleaned every day, it is clean, but it is really hard, it is always dirty. It is inevitable to take some sand off the shoes. No mineral water~ the most important In order to save money, I didn't have an air-conditioned room. It was really hot and sad. At night, the front desk was a bit like a bar. It was a bit noisy, but it was okay, not too late, and you know that diving is too tired and you will sleep very quickly.

Que buena elección fue quedarnos alojados en Slam's Garden Resort y bucear con ellos con Oceans Passions. Están los dos en el mismo sitio. El alojamiento es de 10, limpísimo, con piscina y se come genial. Y el centro de buceo es de 10 también. Equipos en perfecto estado, muy buenos instructores y guías de buceo, muy atentos a todo. Recomiendo totalmente qued**** alojados y bucear con ellos. Toda la gente que trabaja en ambos sitios es genial, y además tienen perros bien cuidados 🙂 Muchas gracias por todo Santiago! Un placer!

It's a bit far to walk to Main Beach. The hostel itself is located in a high location, so you have to walk a lot of stairs to get in once ㅠ Instead, the sea view is good :) The room condition is like a modern traditional house. It was good. However, ants are abundant in each room ㅠㅠ No food in the room, walls. Beds. Tables. Toilet. Balcony...It was an ant heaven

The resort offers comfortable but small rooms back off the beach and right adjacent to the market where there are some decent meals to be had. There are a range of room options, including the queen bed option I had. This has a shower and reasonable sized bathroom, and a balcony. I had chosen the breakfast included option and this was fine. They even managed to cook it the morning after the typhoon. How ever, that was about all they managed after that even, despite their being little actual damage to the resort. Power had gone and rather than provide candles, nothing was given to allow us to see in rooms after dark. Neither were there any instructions given about what might need to be done during the storm. People moved in and left almost immediately because of the lack of action. The owner did refund 70% of the room rate for the storm-affected nights but it could so easily have been avoided with more thought. When one considers there were places better set up to cope for a fraction more, it made this resort one of the less attractive options. Solar panels had been installed by the time I left but were not working so it may get better.

I booked a Superior room for 3 nights. Check in was simple. My room was a decent size and the bed comfortable enough. The shower and toilet were two separate rooms. The cable TV worked well. It required using two remotes but I had to turn on from the TV as the remote probably needed new batteries. The aircon worked well albeit a little noisy. I turned it off to sleep. The hot water shower was only enough to take the edge off cold even after being advised to let it run for 3 minutes but the following days it was warm. The shower rose was old and could certainly do with being replaced. After checking I noticed there was no soap provided. A trip to reception and soap was provided. Also, the shower light was not working, another trip to reception and the globe was replaced immediately. Bedside lamp did not work (globe replacement?). Only toilet paper is provided as there is no bum gun or pail/bucket. The overall lighting was good for island standards. Private patio area with table and seating. Bin on balcony not emptied unless requested. Room clean also upon request. Booking.com states Fan (I had none), Minibar (I had none) and Key Access should read key in door lock. One night I had a cockroach in my bed which freaked me out. I hate cockroaches. I couldn't go to sleep after that ending up staying up all night watching TV. Maybe if they used some insect surface spray it might help. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to the Bounty beach area. Given my senior years beachfront accommodation would probably have suited me better. In summary, the staff are friendly and try to do their best. Small irritations are part and parcel of island life except for that cockroach getting too friendly.
