I booked a room at the Melody Hotel on Sunday June 2nd, five days prior to my arrival on Friday 7th June. The booking was accepted and confirmed almost immediately with a message from the hotel of "see you soon". Come Friday 7th June and 90 minutes before boarding my flight from Bangkok, I received an email from the hotel that there were no rooms available and asking me to cancel the booking. Clearly the hotel had an opportunity to let the room that I had booked to another party for greater financial gain. This is shameful and an utter disgrace. I am absolutely disgusted by this hotel's behaviour and contempt for it's customers.
