We had reserved a room at another hotel, but they didn't have our reservation and were full so we went to this hotel. A mistake. We thought it was a luxury hotel. It has large rooms but it is by no means a luxury hotel. The work chair at the desk is just another wood chair (without cushions) from the hotel restaurant. The AC is so underpowered it took three hours for the room to cool down after we arrived. The shower didn't have hot water in the morning, just warm water. It was better that evening and the next day. There was no switch for one of the lights, so I had to call the hotel engineer to work the bedside program to turn it off. It even took him a while to figure it out. There is a tub with a shower, but the tub is placed near a wall, with no caulking or wrap around shower curtain, so the water hits the wall and runs down outside the tub. The TV is about 20 feet from the head of the bed, so you can't really see it at that distance. The toilet roll holder is behind the toilet seat, very difficult to reach. I could go on, but the design shortcomings are endless. The bed is actually reasonably comfortable, as are the pillows. If the AC was strong enough, you could get a decent night's sleep. The restaurant breakfast buffet has only Vietnamese food. Probably no westerners stay at this hotel. The only Western food was runny yogurt, and you could have made to order eggs. Bellboys carry the suitcases up and down the stairs, but that is ridiculous. Why not make the entrance ground level. I felt sorry for the bellhops, but this is insanely stupid design. Try to find another hotel.
