Motel 6 Crowley, La

This place needs to be condemned by the building department and the health department. Stay here if you want a bed withcrumbs in it. A horrible smell in the air. A leaking fridge, Broken doors. Cracks in the top floor walkway. Rusted shower head. And so on and so on.

This Hotel is old, probably over 40 plus years. It does show its age. But you can see it is maintained to try to keep it up to date. The room was clean, and I do think it's the best in the area. I've been using this hotel for over 20 years now and will continue to do so.

This is one of those hotels that advertises a nice looking clean room with working pool but is actually a roach hotel with crappy owners and employees! I don’t recommend it to anyone and want be staying there ever again! Put it on my list of never stay again places!

black mold, roaches, stained towels, this hotel should be condemned. I checked out at 1 AM to sleep in my car. at least it was safe there. i am appalled at how disgusting this place was. I want my money back for the couple hours I even tried to stay

First, the good: It’s cheap ($86) per night and right off the interstate with a Waffle House in easy walking distance. And now the bad: Immediately upon walking into the room I noticed a stale musty smell. AC was set to 72, a bit warm for me so I turned it down. It made a lot of noise but did put out cold air. The smell eventually dissipated (or maybe I just got used to it). The bathroom was terrible! Tub/shower was grimy and the toilet was full of old urine that was dried and crusty. The toilet seat was grimy too. It very obviously hadn’t been cleaned since the last few guests left. Housekeeping came knocking on the door around 8:45 but she didn’t stick around. She was at the next room when I finished brushing my teeth and opened the door. Even as a solo traveler, I wouldn’t stay here again unless I was falling asleep at the wheel.

The one night weekday stay was great. The linen and towels were new, maybe not even washed yet. The bed was comfortable as was the mattress- it was a little higher off the ground than what I am used to. Lighting good. New carpet. Cold blistery night, walked in and the room was set at a comfortable 70 degrees. The neighborhood is good with a Waffle House just two doors down. Other guests were not loud and were either fellow travelers or possibly workman. Water pressure was so-so but with plenty of hot water. I did not turn on the tv so I can't comment on channels. I judge a room using my personal scale- the shower shoe scale. If I think the room is nasty I do not walk barefooted. This room was definitely on a higher scale. I had a real bad experience with Priceline- which will never happen agains as I will not use them- ever. I walked in the lobby at 1:00 a.m. and did not get to my room until 1:45. Priceline charged my card but didn't tell the hotel that I paid. When booking- try to contact the hotel direct and do not use a third party or suggested telephone numbers from third party sites. While waiting for my Priceline problems to clear a customer who was assigned a room came back and asked for another room- the one assigned hadn't been cleaned. Conclusion- great mid-priced room. You want luxury? Fork out $125 a nite for Ramada or others, but for a basic, safe clean experience this stay was fine.

The room had roaches and mosquitoes, the bathroom was dirty, the towel rack was pulled halfway out of the wall, and no breakfast was served. I also asked for the aarp rate and didn’t get it. Will not stay here again.
