Premier Inn London Gatwick Airport East

Everything was in good condition and clean. AC was working.

Had to stay here as EasyJet cancelled our flight we had to book something. Urgent

I was not looking forward to my stay here, my previous experience in December was very poor but as I had booked a non refundable room way in advance I had to suck it up. Met by a lovely gentleman on reception with a wicked sense of humour, apologies I didn’t catch his name. I had phoned the hotel a couple of days ahead of my stay to ask for a ground floor room as we were travelling with heavy baggage and I was pleased that on this occasion my request had been granted (one of my gripes from my last visit when it wasn’t acknowledged) and as a bonus, it was also overlooking the ‘garden’ to minimise noise disturbance from the car park. WiFi was working this time too! Room as you would expect, clean and fairly comfortable, no air conditioning here so it was a bit stuffy. We had a very early flight to catch, I could have done without the room above jumping around for an hour or so as I was trying to get some shut eye but not a lot you can expect the property to do about inconsiderate guests. Brilliant pub next door, definitely recommend booking in advance as it is really popular with locals. I will definitely consider staying again next time we are flying out of Gatwick.

The hotel and rooms were what you'd expect for Premier Inn i.e. good in our opinion. A big problem for us was there was no option at the hotel or pub next door for breakfast, and nothing else close by. Also, related and unrelated, public transport links to/from this hotel are poor.

This Premier Inn is close to LGW so very handy for an overnight stay before catching your flight. Unlike many it doesn’t charge for parking on the night of your stay but you must remember to register your car. Room was very hot but a fan had been provided. Pub next door doesn’t seem to be associated with the hotel and opening times and food service limited. No breakfast options beyond Grab&Go.

Stayed here with extended family to attend a funeral at near y crematorium. The rooms are average in both size and amenities, however all rooms were unbearably hot, the fan I the room just swirls the hot air round and the windows have nearly any opening so very limited air can get in and circulate. The restaurant is a poor quality Indian, very limited choice that wasn’t curry. I had vegetable lasagna which was inedible. No breakfast is available so had to drive 15 minutes to a cafe.

Ideal hotel for a Gatwick departure with lovely pub/Indian restaurant next door. Big shout out to receptionist Alla, who went above and beyond during over stay when our daughter was poorly. Thank you for making our situation easier with your kindness and compassion

The rooms were so hot and muggy, I went to reception and complained that the cheap fan in the room was not circulating much air and they only had another small cheap fan

We picked this premier inn for its close proximity to Gatwick Airport. The rooms were of usual Premier Inn standard, and provided a comfortable nights rest. The only disappointment was a lack of effective air conditioning on a warm summers night. The hotel provided a fan, but this was ineffective and insufficient, which slightly degraded our stay her. No Premier Inn restaurant on site, but a fantastic independent pub next, with a wide selection of Indian food, and standard pub grub. A reasonable overnight stay, with just a 10 minute drive to the south terminal.
