Hotel Villa de Adeje Beach

Booked this hotel with Jet2 when looking for a cheap All inclusive get a way for the last week of the school summer holidays in August '24 for myself, daughter and 11yr old granddaughter. We had a late flight and were the last coach transfer drop off so got to the hotel about 11:30pm, but check in was smooth and fast via a very polite and friendly male receptionist so we were soon in our apartment. We stayed for 6 nights and were allocated a clean, sizeable one bedroom apartment (607) with a spacious balcony which overlooked the main pool area and found it adequate for our needs. We were not troubled by noice during the night even though the balcony doors were open, didn't find the need to use the air con personally but you could just switch it on manually by a button on the unit, so didn't bother hiring the remote control, same with the TV but we didn't use it anyway. We did hire a safe for 2 euros per day with a small refundable deposit. We did ask for extra pillows and got these no problem within a few hours. The pools and pool area was ok with a good buzzing atmosphere, didn't really struggle getting 3 sun beds but this was at about 8am in the morning as I liked to laze by the pool for a little while before going for breakfast. Though I did notice on several mornings that some towels were down on loungers long before 7am and were still unoccupied after 9am. There is green astro turf around the pool areas which I was a bit dubious about for hygene reasons, but at least it helped avoid slipping incidents. Pool snack bar was fine with pleasant staff, basic snacks (beefburger, hotdog, toastie, slice of pizza BUT no chips) and the usual AI drinks in small paper cups, so take your own re-usable cups if you want a larger drink. We used the Jacuzzi and Sauna for half an hour each, they were fine, you just have to pre-book at reception and it is part of your all inclusive. Breakfast was ok with the usual brekkie stuff. Lunch and Dinner were ok too and I always found something to eat that was enjoyable but I have to admit that I have had better food/dining experiences at other 3 star hotels in the Canary Islands. My granddaugher did struggle to find something she liked and resorted to cheesy chips on a couple of nights so we ended up having to get her some food in the resort a couple of times on an evening for her, so maybe the chef needs to consider catering just a little bit better for children in our opinion.(though I appreciate kids can be fussy eaters like my granddaughter).Also it would have been nice to have had a better selection of cheeses with maybe some crackers to go with them. The Soup was in an awkward place to get to, right beside the queue for the main meals, ideally should of been over by the bread counter and out of the way so easier to access. Entertainment was just so so, nothing flash but watchable whilst enjoying the AI drinks. We joined in the Bingo one night, it cost 5euro for one ***** of 6 tickets, we got 2 Strips (10euro)

We have just come back from this hotel and it was perfectly fine for us, the room was great with a sea view, could have done with more crockery and cutlery, air con was brilliant, 20 euros for the remote but you get the 20 back when you leave, we only went for breakfast a couple of times but it was varied and fresh, went for lunch more and that was same, a real good salad bar, snacks around the pool and drinks through the day again perfectly fine, went out every evening to eat but was in a good location. Don't believe the horror stories, you won't get a 5* all inclusive for 3* prices but we lov ed it and will visit again

Could not praise this hotel enough will friendly helpful staff,food was good,rooms cleaned every day smells so fresh would definitely come back here with my family wee stayed on 7th floor wat a view x plenty to do here in the town such a beautiful place

The rooms are loverly we pay for balcony and have high floor. Loverly and clean. Pool cleaned daily staff really nice all the time . Very central for all. Bus stop outside hotel lo al and Siam park. Cant wait for Xmas when we are back. All staff can't do enough for you.entertaiment good most nights.main bar staff amazing.entertai mer staff amazing. Thankyou for our recent stay see you at Xmas

For a 3 star hotel we were surprised with how good it actually was, after reading the awful reviews I wasn't expecting much but we had a great week here using the hotel as a base. We had room 806 and it had an amazing balcony and the beds were very comfortable. The size of the room was amazing and we found it very clean, cleaner came every day. The pool is great for relaxing no problem getting a sun bed. Pool bar was great food from there was very nice . Restaurant was good the food tasted great just wish there was a little more choice for the kids but they still always found something to eat. I don't understand the reviews saying food was cold it never was. We didn't go to the evening entertainment but could hear it from our balcony. We really wasn't keen on Tenerife as a whole but the hotel was good. Yes you pay a deposit for the TV and Aircon remote but we liked this idea of getting a remote that worked and you got your money back. WiFi is hit and miss but this wasn't a huge issue. Staff are extremely friendly.

On arriving received a nice welcome, everything explained about the all inclusive benefits with an easy to read leaflet. Got to room, it was very dated but also very clean. Following day went up for food and there was loads of choice, same for all meals ( i put on half a stone), same at the bar. Gym and table tennis free too just book at reception, also all the staff are really friendly and helpful. One of the highlights was speaking to Van the tour guide in reception for Vantastic tours, nothing was too much trouble. I scored 4 stars,would have been 5 if rooms were a little more updated with free use of safe and WiFi ( they charge for everything)

I booked a stay at Hotel Adeje Beach as a family of young children. I emailed to ask for a room with pool views and our wish was granted. I received a lovely response back and was happy to when we arrived to be welcomed into a lovely clean room, right at the top with pool views. Highlight of our holiday was relaxing of a night sitting out on the balcony with the beautiful views of Tenerife (Costa Adeje) Stepped outside of our hotel room every morning to the most lovely smell of the products the Hotel Maids use. I am a cleaner myself back home so I’m more than appreciative of their hard work! We came back every day to beds made and changed, fresh towels and toilet roll and rooms smelling so good! Pools cleaned daily, was really spotless and noticed the maid frequently cleaning the lobby of the hotel and adjacent areas and chairs steam cleaned etc All inclusive food was so good! A good choice to cater for all daily! Bar staff friendly, good choice of drinks and they fill any sized cup you have with no fuss. Pool bar snacks to keep the kids happy, pool area was a good happy vibe! Good mix of ages! A really cosy feel to this hotel as opposed to some which can be very clinical and not welcoming. Perfect location with beach right on doorstep down a little hill at the side of the hotel. We loved the Chinese buffet right across the road, was delicious! The kids loved the chicken man/Rosita! He was lots of fun! The parrot show on a Wednesday evening in the bar area was lots of fun! We cannot wait to stay here again, for a three star hotel it ticked all the boxes for a very hard to please customer here! Thank you all for a very pleasant stay :)))

The staff are so welcoming, it’s made my stay 100x more relaxing. The entertainment never bores me, not to mention the fact that there’s entertainment EVERY night. The unlimited food & drinks are super delicious, the pool bar is amazing if you’re a bit peakish during the day, all around absolutely incredible 10/10 THANKYOU!!!

Had a great holiday. Hotel was great kids loved the pool area. We were AI which we used during the day but went out for dinner each night there wasn’t a lot of choice for 2 little fussy eaters, but eating out is still quite cheap. Would still recommend this hotel for families on a budget. Our room was lovely very spacious large balcony clean. Staff were lovely, would definitely return for a family holiday
