Arrived 1900 hours. Lady on reception not the friendliest. First thing she asked was for my payment as I had upgraded to a pool view room. Then she preceded to let me know about meal times, and then told me I needed to wear long trousers in the evening at the restaurant. I told her I was not informed, and she said I should have looked at the website!!!!. Then she gave me a card with our dinner time of 20.15-21.30, not the best for when you have already made plans for shows etc. So first night had to eat out. Apartment on 2nd floor, clean, but shower was awful, no power at all, then internet was very poor, told reception about internet and shower and said they would get a technician to look, still waiting, internet poor all through the week.!!! Next day bought some long trousers, shouldn't have bothered, evening meal was awful, went in at 20.30 hours, not much choice, there were spare ribs at one end, 2 left in the serving dish, I asked the lady for some fresh ones, she just kept pointing to the ones that were in the dish, ended up with ham and some chips. NEVER WENT IN THERE AGAIN FOR DINNER. On leaving the restaurant, I asked the guy on the entrance, what time does it open for dinner, and he informed me 18-30 hours !!!, surely I should have had a choice. As mentioned the room was fine, the other things not fine. Checkout day, guy took my cards, he went straight to the ringing phone, never said thanks how was your stay, or anything. Poor service, he should have looked at my card to see I never used the restauraunt. This is just my honest views of my stay at this hotel.
