Sol Sun Beach Apartamentos

This is a 3 star apartment based hotel and all facilities lived up to the standard expected Staff polite and welcoming Breakfast plentiful to suit all tastes Room functional, fudge and cooking gear not used and great space lounge area terrace for a couple with no views Pool and outside areas spacious and kept clean and no issues finding a sunbed , quiet spot or pool sunbed Pool bar was reasonably priced and never waited fo long to be served Only issues were access to room was like entering ramps and corridors of an underground carpark and as on lowest floor no views passed bar in street I would return if I was guaranteed a higher level room with a sea view or pool view

What a difference the renovated apartments make ….( we’ve stayed here before and said we wouldn’t come back , despite the location &friendly staff) we are staying in newly renovated pool view 1 bed apartment and I can hardly fault it …. Sun on terrace all day … bathroom very clean with a powerful shower, handwash, shower gel and shampoo in full size bottles , a large flat screen tv that supports our fire stick , the beds are comfy, plenty of hanging and drawer space , two mirrors … with a ceiling fan that is ever so quiet and cools the room down, aircon is in the living room. The small kitchenette if you want to cook … two electric rings , microwave …. I personally would have installed a microwave with a grill and oven … there’s a full size fridge , again I would have preferred a freezer box inside the fridge for making ice … breakfast is breakfast in Tenerife …There are plenty of sunbeds scattered over large areas and pool towels can be hired from reception . There is a laundry room with large washing machines 5 € and a large dryer 4€……

We arrived with jet2 on Boxing Day. We had a private transfer and was dropped off on the top road. We couldn’t find the entrance to start with but my daughter spotted a sign down the hill towards the sea. Reception was clean and tidy and looked lovely with the Christmas decorations. We booked a one bedroom apartment for the 3 of us. Our daughter was on the sofa bed in the lounge which looked new and was all set up with bedding. I think we were in a newly refurbished room. The bedroom was modern with touch lighting which we struggled to turn off a few times but managed. The beds and pillows were comfy. The weather was great, we were able to get sun beds on the terrace no problem everyday. We didn’t go in the pool it was freezing. The pool area would be my only complaint. The tiling was broken around the pool in areas so that needs looking at. We were bed and breakfast. It was fine, not amazing but you could always find something. Cooked breakfast, fruit and continental etc. The location was spot on. If u are looking for somewhere centrally located then it’s a perfect stay. We will be back.

It may be worth noting firstly that we got this hotel on a very genuine 'Black Friday' deal but if i had paid the full amount of 3.5k for the christmas break i would not have been happy. Hotel !!...It depends what you are looking for i suppose but its not exactly a luxury establishment but most definately a basic apartment complex aimed at families mainly. We had a poolside room and it was very noisy all day long to say the least so the balcony wasnt used at all. May as well book a cheaper garden room i would say. Peaceful is not exactly its main selling point around the pool but there are areas some way off on the rooftop sun areas just no adjaecent pool. Again this may suit some. Its very clean however in the public areas and reception staff were good and efficient at check in. Rooms!!...As seems to be the norm they are not like you see in the pictures but i suppose we all know that. Rooms were clean but furniture was tatty and sofa bed badly stained. Furniture was past its best. The bathroom was small but functional but towels again have had there best life and need replacing. On the plus side there was endless hot water at all times of day or night. The bed wasn't the best or most comfortable and again ready for replacement. Restaurant !!... There are no pictures of the restaurant if you notice of which we asked the question at booking. I would say that its because they dont want you to see how basic it is. The food quality was extremely basic but you wouldn't starve exactly and was of good quality. warm, and varied every night but just not much choice if thats what you look for. Salad is salad as the wife would argue. Again could be very kid chaotic at breakfast and certain evening times. Restaurant has strange evening meal time of 7-9pm. Raul and Sergio however the staff are just excellent staff at all times. Bar area !!. There is one but non existent. Was never opened nor entertainment if thats your bag Location !!.. Now this is its trump card. Its in the best spot ever if you like being entertained. Literally everything from shops restaurants and bars etc etc is outside the front door and the beach is literally 3-4 minute stroll. There is an abundance of places within 50 yds of the door but on the negative side our room could be noisy until midnight from it but not bad at all really. Overall !!.. Not for us as a couple because its a little too basic and if we had paid the full price it would have been very frustrating. Depends on who or what you are looking for but in short its a very basic, very family orientated, very conveniently located place i definately wouldn't stay again.

We recently stayed in a premium studio with a sea view at Sun Sol Apartments, and it was a fantastic experience. The studio was modern, spacious, and impeccably clean, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchenette was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals when we didn’t feel like dining out. The highlight was, without a doubt, the stunning sea view from our private balcony. It was the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or watch the sunset in the evenings. The location of the apartments is excellent – close to the beach, restaurants, and shops, yet quiet enough to relax. The pool area was lovely, with plenty of sun loungers available. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Overall, Sun Sol Apartments is an ideal choice for anyone visiting Costa Adeje. We’d highly recommend the premium studio with a sea view for a memorable and relaxing holiday.

Second time staying here and only issue this time was work men drilling concrete ceilings during our last few days of our holiday Overall love this place and location is great to just chill out and relax. However this time each day during our second week had problems after problem 1. Work men fitting new sun canopy to various apartments drilling into brick / cement walls very annoying drilling 2. Swimming pool out of action for 2 days ? No one could confirm reason ? 3. Work men drilling holes along concrete ceilings Why no one knows ? Don’t get me wrong have stayed here before and really enjoy the freedom of sun bathing far away from the pool area or if you fancy more lively area sunbath around the pool
