Wonderful place, nice appartement with the best view you can imagine, lovely and very nice staff. Very nice garden and pool area. Thanks to Sylvia for the cake and cantuccini, and thanks to Sheila for everything and your kindness. We hope to come back again.

Beautiful accomodation in a beautiful setting. The pool area and gardens were immaculate. The food was great, and Sheila was fantastic. Always at hand to give suggestions on what to see in the surrounding district and where to eat. An absolute pleasure and we will certainly return!

Spectacular view, evening and daytime. Sheila and Roberta went above and beyond! Piuche OK! La Valle was extremely comfortable! It was so warm and welcoming, we wished it was our home. The breakfast and dinners were delicious. Wish we had taken advantage of all of them. Sheila gave wonderful recommendations of places to go and things to do.

Under Toscan sun, rain, rainbow and eclipse! Perfect place for birthday party, raduno, sabat. Enjoyed the view of the fields and the castle. Ps. Great cat named Tokyo and lots of fresh air. Will be back!

A magnificent tower guards this beautiful area. Rocca di Pierle is a home far away from home. Each and every nook and corner very tastefully done and you can only imagine the thought and love behind it. This place exceeded our expectations of what I envisioned Tuscany would be. Our first trip to Tuscany (and to Italy too), had us transported to a different world. My initial interactions with Andrea (owner of the place) with regards to bookings already was the first indicator of professionalism. As I had to change my travel dates, we got to exchange lot of emails and each time the responses were swift and of utmost clarity. Then we got introduced to Sheila(the superwoman) in the beginning of the week of our travel. Meal plans, menu, arrivals etc were discussed. We arrived late but Sheila was there nevertheless ready to welcome us. These are signs of true hospitality. Anticipating the early morning view, I woke up to the most stunning view of my life. This was by far the best room with a view for me. Breakfast basket was provided in the room but we also opted to have breakfast with them. The omelette leaves a lasting impression...it was awesome! Silvia made us dinner one night (vegetarian fare), it will stay in our memory forever.. The tomatoes, the aubergines, the olive oil, everything had such depth and flavour. I happened to have a conversation with Andrea's father too - a thorough gentleman who recommended me places to visit nearby. Truly a man of soil, proud of his region and he has every reason to be. Cortona has so much to offer and this boutique house and it's people are a perfect blend of professionalism, passion and compassion with their personal touch in everything they do. Such teamwork and dedication will only lead you guys to greater heights....wish I could keep you guys a secret ❤️ Tokyo, we miss you!

My friend and I spent 3 perfect days enjoying this beautiful property and it's wonderful staff. The apartment is part of a quaint villa on a well manicured property overlooking the castle and valley below. It was an amazing break from the hustle of general travel to the bigger cities. Upon arrival they had excellent suggestions for places to go and things to see and our only regret was not planning more time in the area of the country. We did the half board, including 2 meals a day, which were very reasonably priced and more amazing than anything else we had eaten in Italy over our 2 week trip. We opted to take a private cooking class with the owner/ chef and property manager Sheila. We had a blast and made amazing pasta. They were flexible with our scheduling, helpful with every request and felt more like family than staff. We plan to return as soon as we can make it happen and next time.....at least a week, two if we are lucky

I really loved that place. Perfect location in the middle of Tuscany, over 1 h drive to Florence and 2, 1/2h to Rome. A beautiful stone house with pool next to a ruins of old castle. Magical place. Very comfortable with beautiful deco rooms and kitchens. Great customer service that accommodates to your needs. I got my Vegan food and great owners.

Vacations can be a cultural experience where you learn about the regions and the people. Rocca di Pierle offers a rich cultural experience that immerses you in wonderful people, historical lands, and amazing traditional dinners. The staff at Rocca di Pierle are fabulous. Andrea, Silvia, Sheila and Rosanna were the hosts that welcomed us like family at their Agriturismo. All of the hosts really made sure that all of us enjoyed our time here. Andrea and Sheila were here to welcome us at the Agriturismo and proudly showed us around the place. All the hosts would routinely check in on us during the breakfasts and dinners and chat about the history of the agriturismo, as well as the history of the surrounding lands. Andrea and Silvia even went as far to help us make reservations for an activity nearby at a small local town as we don't speak Italian. The location of Rocca di Pierle is prime for a quiet and lovely experience. You can see the small Tuscan towns in the distance, as well as the Castello di Pierle (it's huge!) about 200 feet away. There is almost zero amount of traffic (it's somewhat in the outskirts) so you can expect a peaceful getaway sitting by the pool, hearing the bees hum at the carefully manicured flowers, and the birds singing as they perch on nearby trees. While Rocca di Pierle feels isolated in its beauty, it is also only a 20 minute drive to Cortona. I'd encourage anyone coming here to read and research the Castle of Pierle as it has a very interesting history, and then talk to Andrea about it as well since he is very knowledgeable. All the food cooked at Rocca di Pierle is homemade and FANTASTIC. During our two week trip, we ate at many good restaurants that had 5 stars (and the food was excellent!) but nothing compared to the food at Rocca di Pierle. All the breakfast pastries were made by Silvia, and all of the dinners were also cooked by Silvia and it is done expertly. Their olive oils are crafted from trees down the hill, their pastas are homemade with fine flours, the garlic is specialized from the regions, their wines and honey are excellent as well. Now, I will say, you might see their menu and think it is not special, but know this - their menu is understated. For example, the "chocolate cake" on their menu is actually perfectly cooked Molten Lava Chocolate Cake. Their "Lasagna" is actually a traditional lasagna that is mind blowing and you won't even want what you believe is lasagna from restaurants. The price of the dinners might look somewhat on the expensive side, but trust me, it is worth every penny. The quality of the food, the quality of the company and talking with the hosts, and the amount of food you get far exceeds what they charge for their dinner. They are 5 stars. Come here, enjoy the people, enjoy the views, and enjoy the dinners. It can't be beat.

I don’t think I can accurately put into words how wonderful this place is. We stayed for only 3 days and I was so sad to leave, not only because of the place and the food, but because of the people. You will not find anyone as passionate about their amenities, services, and guests as Sheila, Sylvia, and Andrea are. I wanted to write this review because I want them to do well and flourish so I can go back. But I also fear that their popularity will soar and I won’t be able to get a room in the future. Their success trumps my vacation, however. So believe me when I say there’s no need to search any further. If you want remarkable service, delicious food, a fun cooking class, peace and quiet, and top notch amenities (hello gorgeous pool with a view), just book it. I’ll be back, friends. And I can’t wait.
