Zuri Resort

The hotel is really nice and amenities are great. The swimming pool with bar is a must. Breakfast in the morning is very complete, definitely worth it. Staff tried to be helpful but in some matters like the ferry ticket and information didn't help at all.

The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The rooms are very clean and new. The water pressure is very low, but it could be a problem due to the area. It is located close to the city and is within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Overall, we had a good experience.

Pros: 1. New hotel with large size bedroom- superior room. Superior room is with 1 twin bed & 1 single bed. Good for 3 adults or with 1kid. All rooms have balcony. 2. Good customer service at the lobby. 3. They Provide bath towel for tours if you book directly in their tours. But if not you need to deposit p200/ towel to avail of their hotel towel. . After the tour you need to return the towel to refund your money. 3. Buffet is sumptuous. P498/pax if not included in your room booking. But the restaurant area is a bit small. But they provided chairs/tables outside the restaurants which near the pool area- good beach view. 4. Swimming pools are great and the water is not so cold. They also have jacuzzi area in the pool area. A bar is also set up near the pool area. Beach chairs are all over the pool area . 5. Set up and decoration of the pool area is great at night. 6. The hotel is overlooking the beach area. 7. The hotel is Near the airport only around 20mins 8. Hotel transfers - vans to/from the airport is available upon request p300/pax per way. 9. Hotel slippers are provided in the room 10. Daily room cleaned up are done and replacement of towels, toiletries and drinking water Cons: 1. The hotel is beside the cemetery. At night if you plan to walk to and from the city proper it is a bit scary. 2. The location is uphill so if you walk to the city proper it is a bit tiring. 3. Tricycle price is too pricey p30/pax 4. Elevators should be clean always especially if customers use the pool. They are wet and slippery. They need to add more staffs for housekeeping because the hotel is too big- 98bedrooms 5. Restaurant is only for breakfast

It’s a new hotel, everything was new and beautiful. We chilled at bar near swimming pool while enjoying sun bath. Great experience. However, the front desk was not very helpful. While we were asking about spa booking she told us to go down to spa and check if we want booking. I felt not happy cause I had Sprained my feet and request her if she mind to make a call and book for us. Beside that it was great 😊

Plus: The hotel is new. Minus: Reception desk staffs are not helpful. There’s a manager lady who is not nice and not willing to come up with alternative solutions for guests. We had a very early morning boat trip on the check out date and will be back around 1230pm. The manager refused to let us late check out for an hour which I can accommodate and understand. However, they’ve refused to provide hot shower for us after we check out and told the spa room to not to provide the shower. There’s also a newbie in the reception named Raisha I think, who basically knew nothing and not helpful either. Overall below my expectation for such a 4/5 star hotel.

It was a nice enough hotel but front desk staff was a bit of a hit and miss - not so friendly on arrival but was nice on some days. Breakfast was great here although the restaurant was way too cold to comfortably dine - but the staff were very nice. Room was perfect - except for the mosquitoes. Recreational room was good here - with pool table, table tennis, computer, sitting area, TV and working space for business. While we were there, the pool turned green and was not very clean. The other thing that was not mentioned/shown anywhere was the view to the sea, a big patch of dirt from hotel to sea. Pool area could do with some shade. It’s in a good location to go to the town for food etc. Tuk Tuk is cheap. But it does have a funny smell / stagnant water type, prob because it was next to a river of some sort.

Big room, there are 2 pools. The room service is lacking. The breakfast is very bad! The breakfast staff are dysfunctional.
