Overall, the hotel was ok. For the price we paid we would expect proper cleaning of the room. It was surface cleaned, but under the beds had dirt, dust, and dirty coffee cups.
The service was good and the continental breakfast was decent.

Bed was very comfortable and room very clean. Neighbours were noisy; should not have been given an adjoining room setup.
Not much sound proofing in the building as upstairs shower sounded like it was beside our bed.

Pool had grime, not chlorinated. Rooms were nice, clean. Service was good. Typical continental breakfast. No on-demand TV, could not rent a movie at night. Good for price.

We enjoyed that the hotel was set back from the road and that it was close to a Tim Horton's location (my fiancee is a coffee fanatic!).
Loved the layout of the room, didn't like the few towels that were provided in the room. But, did appreciate that the staff provided more towels when requested.

Construction starts around 8 am. If you dont mind listening to people throw flooring into a wheel barrow directly outside of your room, this is the place for you. When I came out of my room around 9am the, im assuming, manager was in the hall speaking with the workers. I mentioned it was loud and was told "well its almost 9!" I had just flown in from the west coast, having taken 3 different flights and was jet lagged, so not the best response. Breakfast is all processed carbs except for some yogurt. The juice was in a jug you pour yourself and didnt look too appealing. The water from the shower had a weird smell and the toilet made draining noises all night. Will not be staying there ever again.

The room was great and the pool was decent. The only disappointment was the wifi wasn't that strong lots of lag and the breakfast could use maybe one more cereal or maybe some muffins or something.
