Stayed in Hayfield Manor for the weekend. This hotel is a true five star hotel. The staff are excellent. Hotel is exceptional and the service is incredible. We had a beautiful room overlooking the courtyard. The hotel is luxury with a capital L. I would highly recommend staying in this hotel. We had dinner on Saturday evening And we’re served by a delightful waitress. The food was excellent. The wine choice was sensational. Excellent. The bartenders were exceptional. The cocktails were fantastic. What can I tell you? Has to be to do list if you’re visiting Cork show the management team of Hayfield Manor, it’s clear and exceptional thank you to you and all your stuff. What a fantastic weekend. Can’t wait to get back. See you guys very soon. I have stayed in a lot of hotels around the world and this is certainly all of the best.

We had the most wonderful time at this hotel!!! From the gentlemen who greeted us at the door, to the restaurant staff, to housekeeping, every interaction with staff was top notch. So many little touches made our stay special, We were greeted at check in with whiskey, the snacks in the room were a wonderful surprise, and our room even had its own Christmas tree! We utilized the concierge to make a dinner reservation for us and book a taxi into town, which was very convenient. The bed was comfortable and the bathrooms were modern and clean. Plenty of on-site parking with valet service offered. We utilized the outdoor hot tub which was great after a long day of walking. We ate dinner at the bistro and the food was amazing. This hotel was a highlight of our trip, we are so glad we stayed here!

We have stayed in many 5 star hotels in Ireland and this has to rank as one of the best primarily for its excellent service and fantastic food. One of the few to have a hot food menu for breakfast rather than a buffet, breakfast as a whole was outstanding. The second night we had dinner in the hotel which was equally good but the first night we had left it late to book a restaurant in Cork city itself. Not only to the hotel give us excellent recommendations but when one of the recommended restaurants told us they were full one of the staff at the hotel was able to get us a table, the recommended restaurant was also excellent. Our room was a great size with plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 older children, the kids loved playing with the putting machine that had been left in our room. The room was well equipped, the bed was comfy, thd bathroom was lovely and there was a lovely ambience in the room. The swimming pool is a super size too and was not overly busy, our kids would have stayed there all day given the choice. The hotel had a great atmosphere with plenty of activity without being noisy. If you want to walk into Cork we found that easy too due to the location. Would definitely recommend and we will be back. A special must be given to Nathan Sweeney but all the staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough to help.

This is my third time staying at Hayfield and I’m not sure how it is possible to stay in such a beautiful luxurious place but have it feel so homely at the same time. I really think the staff make it special they are always so welcoming, friendly and helpful. It isn’t often you stay somewhere and think the staff really all love their jobs. The food is amazing, breakfast is cooked fresh no hot buffet and the choice is huge. We ate dinner in their restaurant Perrott’s and it did not disappoint. If you are looking for a break you will want to repeat every year I highly recommend Hayfield Manor.

I spent six nights here due to a work visit to Cork. I had an absolutely charming room overlooking the front garden (in the older part of the building, really a very pretty and large room). Breakfasts were absolutely fabulous, and our dining experiences were also positive. We ate here twice, both times to satisfaction. Everybody at Hayfield was charming and contributed to a pleasant stay.

This is a charming old style hotel with an excellent staff. All of our dining experiences were superb including breakfast and dinner in the Orchid Room and the Perrotts bistro. Our room was showing some age but was comfortable. Loved being able to walk down to University College Cork -- don't miss the Horan Chapel. This is a first class hotel.

We stayed for a scientific meeting and any hotel good enough for our fellow guests, Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band and Prof Brian Cox really has to be top drawer. And it was! It is the only hotel we have stayed at in the British Isles with its own aviary. The staircase is a wonder and the bedrooms delightful.

Just stayed in the fabulous Hayfield Manor Hotel, well worth its awarded 5 stars. The staff really stood out for me, especially the Sommelier, for their friendliness and attention to detail. We had a beautifully appointed room. Food was delicious, especially the breakfast. We dined in Orchids restaurant and enjoyed a cocktail each evening in Bloom. We loved this hotel, will definitely return.

Had a wonderful 3 night stay. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. It is in a quiet part of town. The room we had was beautiful and very quiet. The breakfast buffet is wonderful with plenty of good choices. The hot tea was delicious. The bar in the courtyard is a lot of fun. Can't say enough about how wonderful the hotel is. They deserve the 5 stars.
