"This is a hidden gem on your way from Athens. The one negative I can say is that the pictures don’t really do it justice! The courtyard where you eat breakfast is stunning. The landscaping has been beautifully done and the pool is very relaxing. It is on a main road, but once you get inside the gate, you can’t hear or see any of that. Just views of the ocean! A very nice place to stay, with very gracious staff!"

"A big disappointment! We had a match in Agios Theodoros and chose the hotel as there are not many in the area open at this time of year. Unacceptably expensive for what it offers, since it is apparently a monopoly in the area! Unacceptable rudeness on the part of the staff who didn't even let us park (12 at night - 6 in the morning) and sent us onto the highway while there was space! About the rooms: They stayed in the 70s and no renovations have been done there, except for the small TV. The mattresses hard and lumpy, the air conditioning very noisy, not letting you sleep, the doors swollen from the humidity and with the round knobs with the button. Scenery as if from a Greek period movie. The highlight was that we had packed the hotel with competitors from all over Greece, with prices including breakfast, the race started at 8:00 and breakfast opened at 8:00!!! Obviously to avoid it!"

"The location is very good. You can find free parking on the roadside nearby or a free parking lot a few hundred meters away. It is very close to the beach and very quiet. The service attitude at the front desk is also very good."

"Unfortunately the Alkyon Spa was a disappointment - don't book if you're hoping for a relaxing spa break because the facilities will let you down. We arrived (May 2026) and were told that the heated pool was closed from 3.30pm every day for children's private swimming lessons. So if you arrive at check-in time (2pm), you have just 1.5hrs to use the pool. There is a separate 'spa' area with jacuzzi, sauna, steam - which costs €10 per person (this cost was not advertised anywhere at booking). When we arrived at the spa, they informed us that they need 1.5 hrs notice for the facilities to be 'switched on'. And if you wanted to use those facilities from 3.30pm, you'd have the relaxing pleasure of hearing kids being taught how to swim in the pool which is above the spa area through a skylight. The room we had was ok (we paid extra for a Superior Suite), but the spa facilities really let the whole experience down - don't book in off-season (Sept-May) would be my recommendation. Realistically - this is a 3 star hotel, with 4-star prices."

"Cozy guesthouse below Acrocorinth, perfect for solo travelers. The host greeted me like family, offered local tips, and breakfast featured homemade jams and Greek coffee. My room was quiet, spotless, with a view toward the sea. Walking distance to the site meant early, crowd-free exploring. Warm, safe, and genuinely welcoming — highly recommend for independent explorers."
