"Didn’t have a good stay at this hostel. Food is consistently stolen from the fridge throughout my stay. The kitchen is very small and a constant mess to the point of not being able to use it. Advertised weekly events simply don’t happen, making it harder to meet people in the hostel who often live full time at the hostel working a job making it less social. I had an entire load of washing thrown into the bin by a member of staff because I didn’t come back to the dryer in time. Staff did offer a small amount of compensation but nothing amounting to the amount of clothes thrown away or food lost."

"Came to Sydney with my parents and was so surprised by how beautiful Coogee Beach is. The hotel is very close to the beach, and right outside is the main street with all sorts of restaurants and convenience stores. It's super convenient for shopping too. The beach gets even busier on weekends, with people playing ball and surfing – it's really lively. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey, so it's not ideal for a long stay."

"I stayed for 8 nights, and there were about 4 women on duty at the reception. Everyone was kind and tried to understand my poor English. The bathroom, toilet and kitchen were kept clean. Above all, the location right in front of the beach was the best. I was very satisfied with my stay."
