I have been in Marriott Constantine several times before. Indeed with the coming of Mr. KHAN the place is full of life and joy he really made it look like home, the restaurant and room service is unparalleled, Chakhchoukha is a must taste!! thanks to Mr. Tebbakh and his staff, all the personal is welcoming and genuinely smiling. No matter the weather, u will enjoy swimming as here there is In and Out door pools...Already looking forward to my next stay in Marriott Constantine.

This hotel has a great location that is convenient to markets and restaurants. It is a little worn out and room service was questionable. The room did not have a trash can when I checked in and I had to make a request for one. They first delivered the trash can and a few hours later, they delivered the trash can liner. The room also came with only 2 large towels, one of them I had to use as a shower mat. I would have expected some hand or face towels. The safe also did not work, it required numerous visits over several hours to get fixed. The front desk was very efficient for check in and check out but was not that helpful in providing directions-- I chalk this up to probably a language issue, I only spoke English.

Stayed here for two nights while visiting Constantine. Hotel is large and very modern. The only downside is that it outside of the city center so you are kind of stuck there once you arrive back. Room was large and comfortable .. and clean of course. Breakfast was fine. Reception were very friendly and helpful - all good

The hotel is well located, in the center of the city, in front of the notorious place de la Brèche, within short walking distance to all highlights of the city (Sidi M'Cid bridge, Sidi Rached bridge, Ben Badis house, Ahmed Bey Palace, War memorial, Regional Theatre,  National Museum, Mellah Slimane footbridge,...) Rooms are quiet and comfortable. Most of all, we did experience the legendary kindness of the staff, a delightful mixture of attentiveness and conviviality. It would be difficult to mention everyone, but how not to mention Ouissam for her professionalism, availability and attention to details. At Novotel, we simply felt at home, away from home.

Protea hotel is tucked at a quiet corner away from the hustle and bustle of Constantine downtown. the best feature is the perfect view of the Sidi Rached concrete stone bridge offered from some of the rooms. i was given a complimentary upgrade to this room and watched sunset from my room it also has parking onsite, though limited in numbers, and operates on a first-come-first-serve basis. upon arrival, the security guard directed me to park my car. reception staff are also kind, warm, and speak english. i was given a plate of fresh fruits upon check in to the room. lovely welcome. the onsite restaurant serves great chorba frik, which is apparently a constantine specialty. one thing is for sure, i will never get tired of the soups and stews in algeria, most of which i dont even know the names for. all i know is so far, i havent tasted one which i didnt love.

Stayed here for two nights while visiting Constantine. Hotel is large and very modern. The only downside is that it outside of the city center so you are kind of stuck there once you arrive back. Indeed with the coming of Mr. KHAN the place is full of life and joy he really made it look like home, the restaurant and room service is unparalleled, Chakhchoukha is a must taste!! thanks to Mr. Tebbakh and his staff, all the personal is welcoming and genuinely smiling. No matter the weather, u will enjoy swimming as here there is In and Out door pools...Already looking forward to my next stay in Marriott Constantine.

Protea hotel is tucked at a quiet corner away from the hustle and bustle of Constantine downtown. the best feature is the perfect view of the Sidi Rached concrete stone bridge offered from some of the rooms. i was given a complimentary upgrade to this room and watched sunset from my room it also has parking onsite, though limited in numbers, and operates on a first-come-first-serve basis. upon arrival, the security guard directed me to park my car. reception staff are also kind, warm, and speak english. i was given a plate of fresh fruits upon check in to the room. lovely welcome. the onsite restaurant serves great chorba frik, which is apparently a constantine specialty. one thing is for sure, i will never get tired of the soups and stews in algeria, most of which i dont even know the names for. all i know is so far, i havent tasted one which i didnt love.

Novotel offers the best quality/price ratio in Constantine. The hotel is well located, in the center of the city, in front of the notorious place de la Brèche, within short walking distance to all highlights of the city (Sidi M'Cid bridge, Sidi Rached bridge, Ben Badis house, Ahmed Bey Palace, War memorial, Regional Theatre,  National Museum, Mellah Slimane footbridge,...) Rooms are quiet and comfortable. Most of all, we did experience the legendary kindness of the staff, a delightful mixture of attentiveness and conviviality. It would be difficult to mention everyone, but how not to mention Ouissam for her professionalism, availability and attention to details. At Novotel, we simply felt at home, away from home.

This hotel has a great location that is convenient to markets and restaurants. It is a little worn out and room service was questionable. The room did not have a trash can when I checked in and I had to make a request for one. They first delivered the trash can and a few hours later, they delivered the trash can liner. The room also came with only 2 large towels, one of them I had to use as a shower mat. I would have expected some hand or face towels. The safe also did not work, it required numerous visits over several hours to get fixed. The front desk was very efficient for check in and check out but was not that helpful in providing directions-- I chalk this up to probably a language issue, I only spoke English.
