The resorts of San Agustin and Bahia Feliz are within close walking distance in either direction. The pool area is enclosed by the surrounding bungalows making it shaded from the wind and a great suntrap throughout the day! The bungalow itself is perfect for 2 people however you could push another adult on the sofa beds in the lounge area and still not be on top of each other. Good sized bathroom with a walk in shower with instant hot water. The kitchen area was basic but there was a fridge with small freezer compartment for lollies/ice creams and we happily had a paella or two on the nights we didn't go out. There is a restaurant up the hill called Bamira which looked very good. We opted to go to Sa Wa Dee instead which was just over the hill in San Agustin. A nice evening experience. Directly over the road in the apartments building is a bar that does a good range of take away food if you don't fancy cooking and there is also a nice fish restaurant there too. Price of food and drink was still very reasonible compared to other holiday destinations in europe. The little supermarkets in Playa del Aguila were not over priced and the Tortilla they sold were very filling. The beach which the bungalows open up on to was vast and at low tide exposed perfect soft sand. I advise crocks for the beach but when in the water it was all sand. The waves were good at the time we were there so got to do some body boarding. The area is also popular if you wind surf. The little lighthouse was a lovely central fixture of the scenery and the next cove over playa besudo was picturesque. Every morning I sat drinking a coffee whilst watching the sun rise. The friendly small team of staff at Side Shore made our experience even better. Always on hand and nothing was ever to much trouble. All in all a very relaxing 7 nights in paradise.
