Legend Hotel

I was looking for a boutique hotel in cologne and thought of giving a try at this property. I had a good impression about the hotel after reading the reviews. 1. Let me start with the check in process which was smooth. It would be a good idea to ask your customers how the journey was or welcome to Legend hotel with a smile. Offer them the welcome drink, instead of just leaving it in the corner and expect them to notice it at some point during their stay. 2. Please never disturb your customers if they are eating breakfast even if you are not sure if they have paid for it or not. In my case I paid for the room and breakfast in advance at the check inn but I was literally asked to leave the breakfast room as according to their printout papers it said breakfast is not included in my stay. I had to show them the receipt of the bill which clearly said I paid for the breakfast as well. Any ways I left the breakfast room because it was pretty disrespectful the way chef talked to me in front of other guests. 3. Please communicate with in your team in advance so that there are no misunderstandings with your customers. 4. Rooms were nice and cozy. I would recommend the hotels because of the room not service. 5. Ask your customers if they would like to book lunch or dinner at your restaurant instead of not pointing at all. I didn't even know if there is a restaurant at your property for dinner until I saw people in the evening. 6. Tell about your hotel a little bit when they check inn like wifi password, breakfast timings, City map, Lunch and dinner reservations. Take some pride in customer service. I am sure your guests would have a better experience if you fixed the above issues, I run a luxury travel business and for me it's important for my clients to have a good experience while staying at a property.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. Really good location overlooking a square and very close to the Cathedral / river. We stayed in a suite - there are a few so be sure to say which one you want in advance (ie loft, one with a bath, etc) - that was my only ****** - I thought we had one with a bath but didn’t. Staff friendly. Breakfast served in the adjacent restaurant - you need to book the night before - but good food. And it also appears the hotel of choice for Depeche Mode fans (all guests - including us - seemed to be there for the concert)!?!

Very impressive hotel, perfectly situated for the Chris**as markets, being yards from the Al**arkt and within easy walking distance of all old town attractions. The large room was appointed to a very high standard, all wood floors and concrete ceiling and huge windows with juliette balconies, lovely bathroom/shower and touch screen digital lighting (Room 5). The staff are friendly and attentive, we arrived at 12.30 at night after a flight cancellation and the front of desk concierge could not have been more friendly and helpful, sorry cannot remember his name! Despite its very central location the hotel was really quiet and very classy, spotlessly clean and exuding class. Nice touch with the free biscuits at reception, but did not try the hotel breakfast as we were so central to the markets. Koln was a great place for a short city break and I would not hesitate to book the Legend Hotel again if we return for the Chris**as Markets next year.

This was the PERFECT Chris**as market location! The view from 3 was STELLAR! loved this hotel. Simple 10 min walk from the train too.

Everything was perfect about this hotel. The location was amazing for touring the Chris**as Markets in Cologne. The two best were a 2 - 3 minute walk. The train station was an 8 minute walk away. I can’t say enough about the staff. They were all so friendly and helpful! My husband was, unfortunately, very ill while we were there. The woman who worked the breakfast brought him tea all morning long and a blanket while he was working in private corner of the restaurant. The front desk brought him extra pillows so he could sleep upright to ease his cough. The rooms were clean and well tended. The room we had wasn’t large, but it was certainly adequate size for two. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone headed to Cologne.

The hotel is brand new and very stylishly decorated. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable.

Great location! We were in town for only two nights. So close to everything in central cologne including 3 Chris**as markets and Der Dom. Very comfy beds. Great shower. We didn’t use the restaurant or the bar or even the rooftop terrace - but I can imagine they would be top notch Would stay again

The hotel is very modern and clean and located in an easy walk to the square, restaurants and other locations. The soundproofing works really well, the bed is comfy and the shower nice. We stayed in one of the attic rooms and it was pretty cosy, but it had a nice view and served us well. We stayed 2 nights, but any longer you might want to book one of the bigger rooms. We were travelling by train, and is an easy walk to / from the station, but there is no parking anywhere in this area of Cologne.

We stayed in this beautiful , clean hotel in an excellent location. Staff are helpful and friendly. We stayed in room 21 which had a fantastic view . The water pressure in the shower is excellent and bath amenities are wonderful. Highly recommend!
