The hotel is within walking distance of the train station from where the ICE to Frankfurt or to Amsterdam, for example, departs. The hotel is modernly decorated and feels like a living room. Our rooms were already ready when we arrived early in the afternoon. My room was spacious enough, with a very comfortable bed and a good shower. Basically, everything you need if you are on a business trip and use the hotel for a good night's sleep. The bar is actually a large living room, and the staff provides tremendous hospitality with a personal touch. A great place to have a drink in the evening and enjoy a tasty breakfast in the morning.

Generally good all around. No free parking, but a parking lot nearby which cost 15 Euro per day. Decent. Great check-in. Helpful, friendly staff. Rooms were clean and modern. Ours looked over the inner garden. Fair price. The breakfast was okay. Could be expanded a tad. Great hotel bar and garden. Unfortunately on the evening we were there, they were completely overrun. The bartender stayed positive and friendly during an onslaught, where there simply were not enough waiters to be found and service was beyond slow. More a management problem than an employee problem. I would recommend this place and would go there again.

This hotel is spotlessly clean. The staff are very professional and attentive. Any questions I had they did their best to help. It is close by to lots of public transport also. I would highly recommend if you are visiting Cologne. Thank you for a great stay.

In order to provide an honest review, I should go over the Pro’s and Con’s. Pro: Location. Steps away from the Messe train station. Several delicious food options near by. Comfort: bed was comfortable. Con’s: Cleanliness: Bed Bugs. Refer to photos. I thought I had a good night’s sleep but woke up to bugs on the bed and head board. Check in: Did not get a warm feeling throughout the check in process. Maybe that was just me. In closing, I would not stay here in the future. Throughout all my travels, this was the first time that I felt dirty when leaving a hotel.

This was such a great location to explore Cologne. We stayed with friends for two nights and visited the Christmas markets (which are numerous) and did a walking tour of the city and cathedral. The room was small but very clean. We also had breakfast at the hotel and as someone who is both vegan and gf this was fine and the staff were quick to accommodate my diet. There are no tea/coffee facilities. The bar is nice for meeting up with friends.

No phone in room to contact front desk. no option on tv for English subtitles or default language. No shampoo or conditioner in shower. Very little space on nightstand for anything or space anywhere for anything. no luggage rack for 2. un hospitable on arrival.
Perfect proximity to the station and sightseeing. Did not have the breakfast as we wanted more then continental.

Very pleasant public area . A lot of space to sit and relax and chat with others . Nice bar . No restaurant. Just Snacks at the bar . Shockingly no fridge in the otherwise acceptable although small rooms and no phones in the room . I suppose if you need something you need to use your phone and call the hotel number.

I stayed here on the back of good experience at Motel One in the UK. This place lives up to the brand. Spotlessly clean, quiet rooms, well situated on the right bank of the Rhine by Bf Deutz. Only downside is the rip off parking at 25 euro a night - which is disproportionate to the cost of the room. Breakfast pricey at 15.50 euro but quality and quantity was great.

Room very comfortable and clean. Small area to work in the room in the evening. The bar on level 1 is excellent although I did not have breakfast. Hotel staff are helpful and the reception is 24hrs. Only maximum 10 minute walk from the messe. and right by the messe train station (very convenient) Fine as a business short stay hotel
