Motel One Koln-Mediapark

很舒服又新穎的酒店，商務的話還能少付些稅。 房間乾淨舒適，若有double bed會更好。 還有個小阳台，能看到公園及湖。只是阳台许多蚊子，真不知道天冷這麼冷還能生蚊子。 早晨豐富營養又有好吃的溫泉蛋。 只是離火車站有點遠，走路約15分鐘。

This is a good, solid hotel. Very clean room, comfortable bed, and the staff is friendly. The room faced a side street which was rather loud when sleeping with an open window. For a hotel chain that prides itself with its design, the room was a little boring ... which is fine, just clashed with the glossy design brochures that were inside the boring room. Maybe this was another hotel before it became a "motel"? WiFi is fine. Breakfast was nice and good quality, but the breakfast area is a little bit small, and it gets very crowded during rush hour. Also, the breakfast choices are limited by unexpected vegan items. Vegan would be great as long as it does not try to imitate other food, and as long as there would be more vegetarian choices like more real cheeses available.

The hotel was fine for a one night stay. The staff were friendly and the room was overall good and clean. The parking is however not "under" or "close" to the hotel. It is maybe 5 minutes walk and not that easy to find the first time. 5 Minutes is not a long time, but there was no elevator in the parking garage, so there was a lot of activity in actually getting our things into the hotel.

Easy to get to from train station and despite being on a busy road, was quiet, good soundproofing.

What a massive disappointment and overly priced hotel this is. The positives, the room was clean. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot. The negatives, No tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The room is very small, The bath towels are the size of hand towels and are hard and crispy, the extractor fan never goes off but doesn’t actually do anything when you do have a shower. The bed is literally 3 feet from the bathroom door so you hear everything. The Wi-Fi wasn’t working when we arrived. We had to go back downstairs and someone came and fixed it. The breakfast offering was pathetic and did not cater for vegan or dairy allergy which meant neither of us were able to have anything not even a hot drink and the staff didn’t seem to care. Couldn’t add any drinks from the bar to our room, and then when we ordered drinks they insisted on cash, which we didn’t have. What hotels in the work only take cash?! No smart, TV or USB points despite the fact that this was supposed to have been a refurbished room. Small narrow window which makes the room dark even during the day and you need the lights on. There was building works going on in the hotel which made it impossible to sit in the bar area all day. This is a very budget hotel with the bare minimal facilities, but without the budget price. Cannot recommend, I would never stay here again.

Small room, no AC, traffic noise with window open, no drop off area if you r driving. 13 min walk to Cathedral, breakfast is decent, a few resto within 5 min walk. Only pro: Room is clean. Won’t stay again

50m from a monitored underground car park and 15 minutes walk to the town centre. I wish all hotels could tick as many boxes as Motel One. Big bed, good pillows Easy to use and understand shower Huge shaving/make-up mirror Correctly positioned reading lights. They have a bar and do buffet breakfasts. The prices are great value for the quality you get. The number of hotels I could name and shame who screw up most if not all of those points (I'm looking at you, Malmaison) AND charge a lot more. Well done, Motel One.

I come in october 2022 and we stay 3 nights. The room rate was expensive because there are 3 exhibition around the city...the room is very small, no AC so we have to open the window and the traffic is so busy and very loud till midnight and more. Can not sleep well because of the traffic noise.

Great hotel! Really friendly staff, nice design. Room was basic but very clean and comfortable, good bathroom. The location is great, close enough to the centre to pop back if you get tired
