The place is simply perfect. You get to enjoy the beauty of nature in a peaceful ambiente. The food is great and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. Would recomend 110%. Posto magnifico, immerso nella natura. Cibo ottimo e personale gentilissimo e ultra accogliente.

A single star to match the only air conditioning unit, in the mangers office?! A cute place, a little dated, but a nice property with quaint rooms and grounds - including a shallow swimming pool. Other reviews raved about the restaurant but it was never open during our three day stay. They served breakfast: a bunch of sweet Italian pastries and the only hot or savory option was a ham/cheese panini made on a George Forman grill. You can’t rent a hotel to Americans in 35 deg C heat - who booked the entire property - and not inform us ahead of time that is you don’t have AC (ohh except in your own office!) Checkin was a mess, took two people to hand out keys, in no particular order - and the slow down wasn’t for collecting passports that came later at some other inconvenient time in 35 deg heat. And having a single tiny fan in the room is well, nice, but I shouldn’t have to choose between plugging in the fan or the refrigerator because there is only a single outlet?! Nice people but clearly not used to renting to Americans: at these temps and prices, we expect AC!

Arriving at the hotel is quite impressive. A beautiful well kept driveway leading to the back of the hotel where reception is and the unkempt gardens and public areas are quite a contrast... The restaurant.... Please God help me. Having been in Italy now for 6 days and was expecting the same level of professionalism and great food experienced thus far. Alas, this was not to be. The 'manager', charming gentleman is in the wrong business. The afternoon cleaner with the cigarette in the mouth while cleaning the restaurant area. The TV show of years ago 'Faulty Towers' has nothing on this place. The entree, fritters with sage and Calamari, was inedible. Followed with the beef w parmesan and rocket was OK. The tiramisu was OK as well. As an experience.... Terrible... The property has the potential to be fabulous. The staff are all in the wrong profession..

Beautiful and charming old hotel in the middle of the countryside with a poolside loggia covered in Wisteria and Mock Orange in bloom. We loved it!

Nos encantó, la ubicación, las instalaciones el recibimiento del personal. El estacionamiento cómodo y seguro. La limpieza muy buena, la pileta impecable, hemos cenado en el restaurante del hotel y la comida está buenísima y el helado de limón un diez! Volveremos sin lugar a dudas !

Località panoramica, immersa nel verde. La nostra camera era molto ampia, luminosa e accogliente. Bagno comodo, tutto pulitissimo. Personale davvero gentile e disponibile sicché abbiamo trascorso una vacanza piacevole. Partendo dal Pietreto con il proprio mezzo è possibile visitare luoghi incantevoli e rientrare poi la sera e gustare degli ottimi piatti, serviti con professionalità e tanta gentilezza.

Posto incantevole circondato da un bellissimo parco ben curato e fiorito. Molto buona la cucina con ottima scelta di birre e vini. Lo staff attento e gentile e molto disponibile. Ci siamo trovati veramente bene.

Albergo datato, ma sono previsti lavori a breve ed e’ l’unica nota stonata. Poi e’ tutto un crescendo: -Location tattica per visitare la Toscana del dolce stilnovo e la cultura enogastronomica. -Posto incantevole un borghetto immerso nel verde -Personale educato gentile e disponibile, -Colazione semplice ma con prodotti locali e fatti in casa -Ristorante, dove abbiamo festeggiato il capodanno, veramente buono -Prezzi eccezionali Ci torneremo

Abbiamo prenotato da Como tramite booking, hotel perfetto, molto semplice ma elegante , cibo ottimo , non capisco le recensioni negative sicuramente effettuate da concorrenza o gente che e abituata ai 2 stelle e non a servizi superiori, personale gentile e pulizia molto curata, si mangia cibo tipicamente toscano preparato con molta cura e attenzione, posto tattico per gite a san gimignano, volterra,siena , monteriggioni ecc.., colazione fresca e molto ricca sia continentale sia europea ,ci torneremo sicuramente. Grazir ancora a tutti
