"The room was very clean. The bed and pillows very comfortable. The AC was awesome, including at night which is rare in hotels. Staff was outstanding! Friendly, helpful, and all appeared to enjoy their job. Breakfast was excellent both days with a variety of options. Our favorite was apple cinnamon muffins. The lady working breakfast kept everything stocked so well, it continously looks like it first opened. Location is close to so many restaurants, but set apart enough to be quiet. The only thing we would have wanted different was round the clock coffee in the lobby. They did have coffee pots in the room, but we weren't a fan. However we found an excellent coffee place in Charleston called 7 Brew. The coffee was outstanding. Worth the wait...which was longer than usual."

"Nice fresh room. Only problem was being given neighboring room first. Going in finding lights on, bed not made, coke can open on table was disconcerting. Felt like I’d walked in on someone. Nearly immediately obvious they had checked out but room was not cleaned."
