One of the best hotels! Isolated from everything but includes whatever you may need during your stay! It has a pool, a gym, meeting room and steam bath ! It you rent a room with food included it is completely worth it because if you ask “a la carte” can get pretty expensive! All the meals are made from a chef very aesthetic and very tasty The staff are very polite!

The rooms are air-conditioned with warm and cold air, very clean and tidy, and the hot water is great. The ventilation fan in the toilet will automatically turn off at night and turn on during the day. Three languages are spoken at the front desk and the service is also very good. Overall the price/performance ratio is very good, the room can see the Mondego River, opposite the park, there is Burger King nearby, and the central street of Coimbra is 5 minutes' walk away. European hotels do not provide toiletries and there are no slippers in the rooms. Very satisfied.

The location is excellent: although it is not so close to the main attractions of the city, it is in a region with several transport options, as well as supermarkets and food sites. The price is a big difference, with good accommodation with excellent room at an excellent price. Hotel is by beach . Room is big and clean. Breakfast is very good. The supermarket is in next door. The town Sitio near Nazare is on the cliffs. The views are very beautiful and looks down the beach and town. It worths the visit. The parking on the hilltop is limited but if you go there early , you are still able to find place to park. The receptionist is very good and helpful. When I arrived at the hotel in the evening, I found flat tire. The young guy worked at the front desk helped me to call the rental car company to solve the problem. I definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

We have booked many months earlier on ********, we have a really super price. Good 4-star hotel at the foot of the high city of Coimbra, but not more than 10 minutes walk from the university. Good car parking possibility. A pleasant structure with functional room and good bathroom and shower. Smiling staff and available. Good breakfast for category. Excellent comfort in bed. Maybe for lower categories but not from a 4-star hotel and a good reputation !

Beautiful historic hotel, comfy rooms, clean, quiet, fast hot water, loved the elevator, perfect location, nice breakfast, delicious coffee. The highlight was how helpful Louisa was with our confusing issue with the trains going on strike. She immediately researched our journey and found us solutions. I was amazing and will be forever grateful! From the moment I explained our predicament she went above and beyond to help us. The hotel alone was fabulous but Louisa is the diamond in this palace!

Big room with very comfortable bed , breakfast could be delicious. The room lacks slippers

Very good hotel, is a manor hotel, the hotel's small garden is not big, but it is very exquisite, not in the downtown area, after going through the river, going to the university, Coimbra is not big, the spots are concentrated, recommended

This is a nice, clean, modern hotel but there are pros and cons as follows :- Pros - Clean, well appointed rooms which we found to be quiet Very nice bar/lounge with TV Barman switched the channel so we could watch an English soccer game (although he did keep disappearing for long periods - we don’t know whether he had another job or a girlfriend somewhere else in the hotel) Pool area is very pleasant Breakfast included and it was an excellent buffet Cons - Not a major problem for us but it is a bit of a walk (at least 10 mins) into ‘town’. This could be a problem for those who are not so mobile Big tour groups are accommodated, so it was a good job that we were at breakfast right on opening time at 7am. About 30 mins later the place was swamped by a very large party Unfortunately, not every breakfast dish was ready at 7am so we did miss out on a few items. This is bad food and beverage management Since it was raining and there is nowhere else to eat close by, we had dinner in the restaurant. We thought that €25was expensive for the buffet so we ate à la carte. My rice was very dry as was my friend’s pork. Not impressed at all. Just hope you don’t want to check in or out when a tour bus arrives or is about to depart. I would have given 3 and a half stars but 3 is too low so we’ll go with 4 as the staff were all very friendly.

The hotel has a strong sense of design and VI does a good job. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the city centre. The space of room is large and the bed is comfortable. Although there are not many kinds of food in breakfast, they are good quality and there is freshly squeezed orange juice.
